Course Curriculum Overview

Curriculam is a lot as if one expecting that how it to be going. Hence being regular in the class and going as per the professor will help you to cope up with the situation and that's how th curriculum won't be that tough. Although I can say that the course are made in way so that current problems can be easily solve

Placement Experience

Placement are good .As if my department has recently added so can say only that max package was 16lpa and hope for more better placements of our seniors . So yaa placement are good here can be said so doesn't matter .

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions

At the time of admission I have to pay approx 40000 rupees. Besides this sem is approximately 9000 and 15000 hostel fees. We get 50% rebate in tution fees. It's not at all expensive in terms of money and only thing is we do have to pay extra of we learn a extra curricular activities.

Campus Life

Campus Life is great for btech students as they have time to in gulf themselves in all extra activities but we as mtechs doesn't have that much of time hence not a better place if one is looking for but definitely you can opt for 1 or 2 wouldn't be a problem.

Hostel Facilities

Hostel facility are quite good. Rooms got cleaned twice a week and washroom on daily basis. Besides this mess is not upto mark as it has just started so not good as compared to others else the staff of hostel is also not initially so helping.

Hostel Fee: INR 15000 per year

Admission

This college comes under top 5 and has reputation as it comes among very old iits. So being post graduating from here will be honour for me and the culture here too fascinates me in choosing this wonderful college.

Masters in Electrical Engineering from IIT Kanpur in 2023-2035

Placement Experience:

During the third semester of the master of technology, students are eligible to sit in campus placements. In the Electrical Engineering Department most of the top semiconductor companies like Intel qualcomm, micron, Texas instruments, onsemi, cadence, amd visited this year. Number of offers made is 80 out of 140 candidates. The highest package is 49 LPA by Qualcomm. 60 per cent got placed this year due to poor market conditions. I am going to work in a semiconductor company after completing my degree.

Outstanding teaching & helpful authority, best value for money

Remarks:

The university management, authority and faculties are very supportive and helpful. The university has MUSC i.e student council for all the activities of students. The campus is full of greenery and has a healthy environment. Most importantly there is no ragging in the campus allowed. To look after this there is an anti-ragging committee is present for the students.

Masters in Electrical Engineering from IIT Kanpur in 2023-2035

Elegibility is to have a btech degree in the same stream and qualified GATE exam (graduate aptitude test for engineers) with good Score. Applocation form can be founded on the website of gate exam. Application fees is 1700 per paper. Application form is filled in the month of September and exam occurs in February first week. I have not availed any reservation. Exam occurs once every year and not difficult. Problem Solving approach and solving PYQs and giving test series suffice for good score.
