Remarks

The admission was through the website. For me the CAT score and the academic performance was important for getting admitted. After being shortlisted I also attended an interview. I decided to apply for IIT Kanpur, because I couldn't get into IIT Delhi which was my first option. This seemed like a good second option.

Course Curriculum Overview

4

The course is a 2 year program. And we had 4 semesters with a one month internship in between. The faculties were all very nice. They were highly qualified. And gave due importance to studies. They also taught in a way which was very easy to understand. Our department wanted to give us extra exposure, that they often conducted seminars and extra lectures.

Placement Experience

4

The top companies that visited our institution include Adobe, Amazon, Adithya Birla Group and Brocade. The highest CTC offered was 18 lpa and the average was 6 lpa . We were eligible for placements starting the third semester. Some students also got placed directly after the internship.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee for the course was 3 lakhs. IIT offers scholarship on the basis of academic merit. We did not have any other financial help. We however had an opportunity to apply for loan. Also there are no campus jobs, even though we had a paid internship, the amount was not enough to pay the fee.

Campus Life

4

The campus of IIT is really beautiful. It is very big and has a lot of greenery. The infrastructure of our institution was very advanced. As it is an IIT, the quality of the infrastructure was good. We often had cultural and sports events. They are usually organized by the student council.

Hostel Facilities

4

While applying for the course, we had to opt the hostel. Only then are we allotted rooms. The rooms are spacious and neat. Both single and shared rooms available, the rent is also based on that. We had a mess, where we used to hang out after class. They provide good food. We also had an extra cafeteria.

Placement Experience:

Usually companies start coming from the third semester. Companies like Info Edge, HCL, TCS, Google Turbo, etc. come in. And about 90% of students get placed. The highest package in MBA is Rs. 4 lakhsPA but this is a myth, usually placements happen below Rs. 10 lakhsLPA.Sales hr marketing researcher profile the offers. 90-95% I started my own startup after getting my degree.

Placement Experience:

Firstly speaking, no college can provide you placement. If you don't have that capability to catch that placement. Yes, majorly most of the students got placement. The highest placement which I have seen from my eyes was eight LPA, which was quite good if we see from starting if a new B is coming and he's got eight LPA, then it's really good, and yes, this college promises you that it will provide you placement, but the only condition is that you should be well-behaved and obey all the rules and regulations of this college. If you don't have that capability, you yourself can't do it. Yes, every year companies like Wipro companies like Amazon company companies like Flipkrt comes in this college and takes many of the students.
