Institute of Technology and Management provides study in different streams like BTech (ME, ECE, CE, CSE), BBA, BCA, BPharma, MBA and Diploma in different branches. One can take admission to this college via AKTU counselling procedure or through direct admission both are fine. One should have cleared his\her 12th with 45 or more marks to be qualified for this college.

Semester exams are conducted by AKTU which makes external marks while internal marks are made by scoring sessional exams which are being conducted by the college 3 sessionals per semester for each subject. Not only written exams but one needs to behave in a disciplined manner, maintain attendence, complete assignment and practical files on time to score better in internal exams. Practical exams are also being conducted in after semester exams in which an external teacher comes to take viva of students.

Students become eligible for attending campus placements from the 7th semester or the start of last year. For some streams like Computer Science, Electronic Engineering, MBA, BPharma placement records are quite good, especially for CSE. But students of other streams like Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering etc struggle to get jobs even after their course completion. In my memory, more than 10 companies came for Computer Science Engineering and Electronics Engineering. The highest package offered was 12 lakh per annum by Jaro Education Group. More than 60% of students of CSE branch and approximately 30% students of EC branch got placed of 2020 pass out batch. Since I didn't get placed through campus placements I transitioned my career field towards Data Analytics and I'm currently pursuing it

The fees structure is normal as compared to different engineering colleges. Students with weak financial backgrounds apply for government scholarships every year and most of them get scholarships not equal to total fees but almost 60% of the tuition fees. Campus placements are being arranged by the Training and Placement Department of the institute every year. The placement record of some streams like BTech CSE and EC branch, MBA, BPharma is quite good. Placement records of streams like Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering etc. are not good. Students of these streams struggle to get jobs even after they complete the study. Unfortunately, I am one of them.

There are several channels on YouTube and some pages on Facebook related to the college run by students. There is no official channel or page but one can get information of placements on the Facebook pages of ITM.
