- Free medical service to all students provided by university is a very nice and efficient step by management of university
- This university always promote sports, organise sports events at regular basis and provide sports equipments
- Quality education is their with well qualified and experienced teachers in university.
Dislikes
- The thing which i dislike is their policy of increasing fee per year with 5 percent increment
- My major disliking to my university is that they sometimes didn't provide scholarships to those who are really needy
- Further i dislike their hostels as the rooms and bathrooms in hostel are quite disappointing
Course Curriculum Overview
My course is quite good i think . This university had provide me great knowledge of every subject and even provides practical knowledge to students so they can understand better than only having theoretical knowledge
Fees and Financial Aid
My yearly fees is about 1 lakh 40 thousand approximately including tution fees, admission fee, lab fee, examination fee etc. Our university provide scholarships for Sc and St students as their fee is concessed and they haive to pay ony about 5000 per year approx. They also give fee concession to siblings studying their whether in regional campus or main campus . Further they provide free medical service to all students with well qualified doctors in main campus
Campus Life
In matter of co curricular activities and fests I thinks GNDU is one of the best university . Each and every festival is celebrated greatly by students and teachers together . Recently a few days back we've celebrated Teej . Every year their is youth fest in university where several other colleges and university performs . Every year their is a 3 to 4 day fest know as JASHAN in university auditorium in which students from every department participates .
Admission
I had applied to Chitkara University and my seat is confirmed their but when i get to know about some strict rules of that university like having a uniform in campus and strict rules in hostels . I have changed my mind and then set to Guru Nanak Dev University
Faculty
Faculty to student relationship is quite appreciable in our university. I don't know much about other departments in in my department the faculty is really good . They treat us like their own child. They are easily reachable to students . If you have any doubt just reach them in their office and they are always their to support you. Moreover after college time you can call them and they always respond you in a positive manner
