Course Curriculum Overview
The course is a bit outdated but so is the case with most colleges including iits. I Can be better but still, these are some of the most reputed colleges of India. One can do different courses to up skill themselves, however.
Internships Opportunities
Internship opportunities are available here however it was limited last year due to the recession but it was globally. Projects highly matter. Google Microsoft came. Stipend of 1.5 lakhs. However, they only hired very few people from campus. You may try off-campus as well.
Placement Experience
Placement is nice. Can be better. Not at par really with top 6 iits and bits. But it's still the best ROI. Doesn't charge 30lakhs unlike bits and 20lakhs like iits. Best college for higher studies. Good companies visit campus
Fees and Financial Aid
We have to pay 3000 per year making it the best college in terms of Return On Investment. Less Than 13000 Is The Cost We Have To Pay For 4 Years. Tution Fee Waiver Category Is Also Available For Financially Weaker Students.
Campus Life
Campus Life is nice. The infrastructure is good. Clubs are run well. Startup culture can be better here but overall nice. It has nice big playgrounds where even international cricketers come during IPL (not kidding search Google if u want). The cab ground is there in Jadavpur. And also our library is one of the best in the city oldest too.
Admission
Wbjee is an exam we have to give. I secured less than < 350 ranks to get etce branch at ju. Application fees very less 500. And counselling also 500. Wbjeeb conducts everything. Wbjee Occurs once yearly.
Faculty
Faculty are highly qualified. Some of the best people who have done high research in their fields. Some of the best in India. Faculty to student ratio may be 30:1. They are really approachable and help the students.
