Anuj Kumar's Review On UPES, Dehradun

I took different examination i.e. JEE main & advanced, UPESEAT, UPSC etc. I scored good marks in JEE main, UPSC and UPES. I got admission in UPES bcoz it's placement is very good. Second reason to get admission here as I got my interesting branch here.

I have Computer science in UPES. This college provides 10-12 specialization in Computer science. Each and every domain has its own perspective and it's wide area of knowledge. Its branches are cse-ccvt, cse-mainframe, cse-bao, cse-ogi, cse-bfsi etc.

Yes, UPES provides internship to the students. Many of them are stipend intern. Most of the students got their interns in their favourite companies.

Placement is very interesting topic to talk about here. Students works for 3-4 years only to get a good job. I also got admission here as i knew UPES gives the 90+ percentage placement in every branch. Here comes many great companies i.e. LNT, Wipro, schlumberger etc.

UPES celebrate many events during a year. UURJA is a great events that is celebrated here. Students from different college of different States come and take participation in these events. There are also some events related to cultural like fresher party.

Talking about fee in UPES it is much more expensive yes it is! The total cost for each branch per year is around 4 lacs. Still it has the large no of Students coz of its placement. It is the no1 placement college in dehradun. It has the maximum in salary and it gives the large no of placements.

Yes college provides some scholarship facilities to the top 3 students of the branch or who get 95+%in their class .

UPES has an awesome infrastructure. Talking about Gender ratios i think it's around 4 out 10. Students have many curricular activities here i.e. cricket, football, basket ball and many indoor games. Labs are much more cleaned and available to students. Debates are mainly focused in communication classes.

There are only 2 hostels from the college side but there are many private hostel in 5kms area of college. Different hostels have different qualities in food. Some are pure-veg, some are non-veg. Food is tasty and digestic. They provide 3 times food in a day . They provide milk in night

Exams structure is pen and paper based here. Actually it gives the students a thinking more. Labs are very good here. We got great experience in labs. They are well cleaned and very interesting. Labs assistant are very helpful to the students and be always there for any help.

UPES has much Number of faculty in both qualities and quantity measures. Most of the faculties are P.hd holder. They have the great experience and knowledge about their area of study. They also give the good vision to the student about their life and placement and do some great activity with the students.
