Likes

Canteen is well maintained, lots of food to choose
Providing every subject notes as pdf for the students.
Some faculties behave too good and understand the students well

Dislikes

The timing of the college and strict security so that the students has to sit and wait for the departure bell even if they dont have any class.

Course Curriculum Overview

In the masters of computer applications, after first sem the practical classes were not much regarded as necessity. Some teacher taught us about the programming languages but not much languages were offered.

Class Size: 60Course Fees: INR 60000 per year

Placement Experience

After 2nd semester, students become eligible for placements. Not many companies came to hire the MCA candidates. The average package was atleast 3 LPA. Around 15% from the MCA candidates got a job from college placements, while others had to find it from their own.

Fees and Financial Aid

During admission my fees was 60,000. While for rest of the curriculum it was 50,000. It has now increased though. Scholarships are often offered. And also the examination charge is Rs. 1200 per semester.

Campus Life

There were not many fests at the college. Ureckon is the famous tech fest of our college. Ectasia is also a famous fest from our college. Not everyone is allowed to seat and study in the College library.

Admission

I attempted the IEMJEE exam for the MCA entrance in the UEMK, and passed the exam on first attempt. The admission dept. Helped us quite a few times. And the test was moderate. Timings are quite good and they offer the facility to give the exams from home.

Faculty

Minimum Faculties are well behaving. While most of them talk very rudely and doesn't help students much. Even some officials doesn't think about students health and tell to notify other faculties and sit in the class and attend them, whatever the illness is!

If you come to this college this college is good the teachers are friendly and you will get the campus from the college if you study hard.

You can take admission in UEM Kolkata through IEMJEE Entrance Test or Direct Admission by giving 10,000/-.
