Course Curriculum Overview

The course was very interesting. It completes all the practical aspects of navigation and stability and exams are of medium level if you study properly then you will find exams very easy. Although the duration of the course is appropriate

Class Size: 120Course Fees: INR 770000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee structure changes every year as per the facilities they are giving to you. They provide various scholarships if you are good at your studies. And Best part is they provide you with house placements. Their placement rates are 100%

Campus Life

My overall experience was very good. They organise many nautical competitions in which different maritime colleges take place. The competition is completely based on your nautical and marine engineering knowledge

Admission

You should have scored more than 60% in PCM and aggregate 50% in PCM (each subject) and your age should not be less than 17 and more than 21. Reservation benefits will totally depends on the college.

Faculty

The faculty is highly qualified. They will treat u very well. They will provide many handwritten notes and adequate study material. They use every medium for your better understanding and they conduct monthly examinations to test your knowledge which is very helpful.

after completing this last semseter you will be send directly to ship for further training , executive ship management will assign you ship based on your rank ,100% students get placement it all depends on waiting period of getting ship , after getting degree apply for 2nd mate college and get license to sail as an officer

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose DNS(Diploma in nautical science) because this is the best I found because it gives you a training period for sure and it leads to your job further if you perform well in your further exams. There are many more benefits to it.

Remarks:

Nothing bad to say and had a wonderful time there. The college management was always there for us. They took care of our needs every time. and I would say that if anyone wants to join merchant navy they should try their luck with TRAINING SHIP RAHAMAN.
