Remarks
Nothing bad. Good college to studies specially IT, electronics and law.
Entrance Preview
It was one of the best for Bachelor in Information Science course at that time. Very nice lab of computers and electronics instruments. Good staff, well trained and dedicated for teaching. HOD is excellent so the course could nurture well under his supervision
Course Curriculum Overview
Very good and very tough. Designed to cater to the growing needs if IT industry. Course syllabus is at par than the IT courses if IIT and other well known colleges of India. We gave tough competition to students from such colleges. Although we had to go out for placement on our own.
Internships Opportunities
No internship and thus no stipend. They should look into this option as well for better prospects of the students.
Placement Experience
At that time, no placements from college. We had to run behind companies explaining them about the course and convince them for taking our interviews. It was tough but we were successful to gain interest and get career breaks in decent companies with good packages
College Events
Annual event which runs for a few days. Delhi university colleges do have a period of tenure fixed for events. ARSD too arranges for such events which helps student in their extra curricular activities helping them gain social and cultural knowledge.
Fee Structure And Facilities
Feasible fee structure as compared to many other colleges in Delhi university. We had about 15.5k in first year and next three years it was even less. Other colleges had higher fees structure and less facilities to train students with upcoming skills in IT
Fees and Financial Aid
Not really. I have not heard of scholarship during my tenure, atleast for my course. Principal should think about it
Campus Life
Well balanced campus life. Teachers and students had good level of involvement. Its a nice and calm college. Events help bridge any gaps and students of other courses get a chance to interact with each other. College has a big football ground and sports facilities
Hostel Facilities
No hostel was facilitated by college. This was a drawback. I dont know what’s the scenario now. I have not yet heard of college hostel facility. Canteen was there serving fast food. Not something which one would eat for lunch or dinner. Pure snacks kind of items
Alumni/Alumna
They should plan for Alumni meets. Annual or a big event once in 5 years should be arranged which will help in placement
Exam Structure
Very tough. Course content was at par to btech and MCA. Very less students could pass exams. Lot of us failed in first year itself. Exam questions were based on practical implications for which one has to be clear in the theoretical knowledge. All this makes the exam tough
Admission
Common entrance test for my course by Delhi university. I got good marks in the entrance test which enabled me enter the college and get admission. Test was all India entrance thus heavy competition. I cracked it and of the 9 colleges this was rated best due to past results.
Faculty
Nice staff members. Dedicated to teach from morning 8 to evening 5pm. Practicals were arranged daily to have hands on experience with coding languages and also electronics instruments to learn digital and analog electronics. Well balance maintained with other course students
