I would like that i would get sufficient holidays and i can spend family time
I would like to say that teachers and hod is very humble and they would never disrespect any students.

And the second one was engineering drawing which i didnt like at all but yes these two lab subjects has more credit points in you sem

i by my side usually regret taking btech as i copied because in 1 and 2sem it would create no pressure but from second year in btech there is so much pressure that you feel echaaust at the end of each day

As i am in 2 n d year i dont have much knowledge about internships but usually 3 and 4 year students got internships with a basic stipend also , but also lot of people do unpaid internships in 1 and 2 year

See i am telling truth , We all have known the current situation scenarios of it hub , and wjere my collge is located , the are is known as it hub of kolkata so the placement on campus is average here

Fees and Financial Aid

the fees is 550000 of 4 years it is usually divided in 8 parts and each 6 months you have to pay , the last date for odd sem fees is 30 june and the last date of even sem fees is at the end of december that means 31 december

Campus Life

i have no campus life , i have a boring collge life , infact very boring , i have no freinds as i only do classes and come to pg , as i am unabke to make friends there because i am a intrivert , i do not able to mix up

Admission

The admission process was very easy, as i was alloted this collge from wbjee rank , so i got aiml cse in 1 round of seat allotment then i sitted for 2 md round then i got same branch and same collge then i visited collge and done all the procedures it usually took me 2 hours

Faculty

Yes all the teachers in my college is well qualified and they all have a good knowledge of their own subjects and , and there is no shortage of faculty as there is such a mass crowd of students in my collge

Story of hit

Placement Experience:

The campus placement from recently past years is slightly good . Like tcs infosys cognizant ibm Capgemini like companies comes every year with good placement and capsitech gives you internship from 3 year . From 7th sem you are eligible for campus placement in 2025 the avg package is 5-7 lpa and Highest lpa is 75lpa . My plan is getting good job in good company

Placement Experience:

7th semester is when the students get to sit for placements. I am not sure about the total no of companies visited but I am aware of the name of few companies like IBM Infosys Wipro Capsitech Tech Mahindra cognizant etc . Mostly the girls are 100 percent placed cause there is diversity hiring. Mass recruiters is what visit our campus mostly.. I personally would look for a job after graduation highest package offered displayed by college is 75 lpa but I don't think so it is real. Maybe someone had worked hard and got placed off campus. On campus highest isbi guess 12-14 lpa

- I choose Data Science as it is new to my college when comparing with the other branches. The curriculum is just okay it is not per industry standards but if students deep drives in each aspects then they are likely to crack GATE exams. - The whole curriculum needs and improvement from the very 1st Year and removal of irrelevant subjects like Discrete Mathematics, Electonics, Biology for IT branches are required. - Semester exams are conducted every 6 months and CTs are conducted every 2 months

NIT Durgapur:-A wholesome Insight in the college life and it's different aspects

Placement Experience:

For campus placements student become eligible from the 7th semester onwards and for internships student get eligible from 5th semester onwards. Wide no of companies visited our campus around 180+ and made around 580+ offers to the students. The highest salary was 58LPA which was offered by DE Shaw and the highest accepted salary was 51LPA in Microsoft.The average package rolls roughly around 10-12 LPA.The profile offered include SDE roles, management roles,finance in some cases.The overall placement percentage was around 80% with Branches like electrical and metallurgy moving above 90% followed by CSE and ECE in the mid 80s while for biotech and civil the placement percentage are generally below 70.My plans after getting the degree is to land a job offer from on campus placements.Therefafter maybe look out for and MBA from top B schools of india.
