Likes

The lab facilities of CIT is the number of things I liked most in our computer science department we have total 5 lab and overall facilities are Quite high
The Central library of CIT kokrajhar is one of the most beautiful things I liked most our library is one of the best library with capacity of more than 1 lakh
The campus of CIT kokrajhar is quite decent we have total a 250 acres of land 3 boys hostel and 2 girls hostel overall our campus is full of greenary

Dislikes

There is a certain problems in CIT like some times we have facing a electricity issue
Sometimes the connectivity is not good as you expected
The hostel food is not as good as you expected

It's a fact that the Indian education system is not designed or promoted for skills sharing. But if you are in CIT the scenes are quite different. In CIT various seminars and programs related to a high balance between a curriculum and an industrial side

The fees of CIT kokrajhar is very affordable per year we have to pay 45000 which is quite decent and very much affordable. Anybody can study anything in study with less money. And CIT proves that education doesn't need money

Since CIT kokrajhar established in 2008 and the infrastructure is Quite high the building is like is quite fascinating and makes the thinking of students of the year . Which is very good to post on. Social media

You can come cit after you completed 10 and take a part of your diploma courses But most of our students take part in btech module you can take part in btech after jee marks basis and they took a seperate entrance

Our faculty members are all high Qualifies mostly they have all PhDs and even some professors are doing their post doc. from foreign universities overall the professors are quite talented and very humble.

Placement Experience:

The college placement aren't much in our college because our college is too deep inside the area it's like a village area companies find it difficult to come here. Companies mostly come for chemical and mechanical engineering students to hire them. For electrical and civil you have to apply off campus. I don't know the highest package from our college but the recent package that was offered by mahindra to mechanical engineering students was 19000 per month. Atleast 35% students get on campus placement. My plan after degree is to pursue mtech or maybe BFA in Seoul, South Korea or maybe find a job outside india

Placement Experience:

The placement of this university is not upto the mark. The highest package recieved by a student was 37 LPA. He was an ECE student. The average LPA is around 6-7 LPA. I think it's a bit low compared to NITs/IITs. But compared to other central and state universities its quite good.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum is btech and since it is an IIT the faculty are the best in their fields profs here have done PhD from Stanfords of the world and the prof-student ratio is very healthy. Although there are a lot of exams in the ballpark weekly one or the other exam will be there and the exams are very tough but grading is relative.

You are eligible for internship placement in the 5th semester and for the full time, you're eligible for campus placement in the 7th semester. 223 offers were made for 22 pass out students. Some of the companies that visited our campus are Amazon Deloitte ZS Associates Tekion Mindtickle Gamescraft. The highest package was 61.5 lakhs and the average package was 15.34 lakhs. 95.12 per cent of students got placed. My plan after college is to work as a software developer.

I didn't apply for any other colleges .As my sister home was near and this institution is under central government guidance,I just prefer this college only . The admission process is very simple here , a student can join the institute through jee mains,citkee or all india engineering exams . Other colleges I applied were NEHU and Tezpur University.I got IT branch in NEHU and Mechanical in Tezpur and CSE in CIT kokrajhar.I preferred CIT because the CSE branch is what I wanted from the beginning.Even though it's infra level is less than Tezpur University,but I didn't wanted to waste time in other branch rather than CSE .CIT compared to NEHU had better chances for CSE students....Read More
