- Good professor, teaching and non teaching staff are good ,approachable and friendly . Always ready to help for students in need .Good for students who want to learn .Very much supportive environment .
- Campus Life is also good.Events of tech and cultural also happen.
- Placement is avg.Needs some improvement,but all depends on one effort itself
Dislikes
- More sports activities should be done here.
- Canteen should be open 24×7 or upto atleast 11 12 pm
- Slow development of infrastructure ,thats all.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course and curriculum are upto the mark.Neither much hard nor too easy.Although the core subject exams are sometimes tough so that we give more time to it .Test are taken by faculties frequently making it good for revision before final examination
Internships Opportunities
Internship in 2nd yr offered from college are mostly in NIELIT,Railways.We can also do internship in IIT ghy through the help of our professor . Although, internship company can also be chosen by ourselves if the required skill is known by us at any company.
Placement Experience
Placement scenario is quiet avg . Only skilled people who had discipline in the journey would be able to crack it.College tag won't help much here.The people placed are purely based on skill acquired.
Fees and Financial Aid
Year wise approx 80000 Tution fees per sem 12000 for general and OBC and for St sc - no tution fee + Additional development,lab, fees - 9000 Mess fee - 6000 Hostel fees 7000 So per sem fees in general = 12000+9000+6000+7000 = approx 34 k Tution fee waiver isn there
Campus Life
There many club such as Google Developer Club(GDC) ,Robotics Club, Cyber Security club ,etc which are very good for learning ,skill development and outreaching people.Other are Drama Club,Ramdhenu Club,etc. for entertainment and enjoy purpose.
Hostel Facilities
The Hostel Facility is quiet good with 24×7 current and sufficient tap water for bathing,shower and other purposes.Drinking water is also quiet good . Mess food is basically avg. and veg . menu like dal ,chawal,salad ,onion,sabji,rooti,achar,aloo pitika , papar ,etc are served.We can buy non veg. for 30 rs from near canteen.
Admission
Other colleges I applied were NEHU and Tezpur University.I got IT branch in NEHU and Mechanical in Tezpur and CSE in CIT kokrajhar.I preferred CIT because the CSE branch is what I wanted from the beginning.Even though it's infra level is less than Tezpur University,but I didn't wanted to waste time in other branch rather than CSE .CIT compared to NEHU had better chances for CSE students.
Faculty
The faculty member are quiet learned.They are always ready to help and guides whoever is in need for it.We can reach out to them whenever necessary.Faculty to student ratio in CSE branch is about 1:20.
