The highest package is around INR 10 LPA, with an average of INR 3-5 LPA. About 60-70% of students secure placements. Post-degree, I plan to pursue higher studies or seek opportunities in the corporate sector, leveraging the skills and knowledge gained during my course.

Fees and Financial Aid

Shivaji College’s fee structure is affordable, with annual hikes of 5-10%. Total costs include tuition (INR 10,000-30,000/year) and additional fees (INR 5,000-10,000/year). Scholarships include merit-based, need-based, and government schemes. Campus jobs, like library or research assistants, offer stipends of INR 2,000-5,000/month. These financial aids ensure a balanced academic and economic environment.

Admission

Admissions are based on Cutoff based. Cutoffs are released on the official website of the University of Delhi, you have to download the cutoff and check which course and college combination cutoff is matching with your aggregate percentage. Before cutoffs, DU releases an application form In which you have to fill in all details and class 12th marks. Cutoffs are based on class 12th percentage. But every year cutoff percentage is rising, In 2021 it was like a boom.

The core subjects are very well divided, the main problem arises with the other additional subjects which requires efforts as same as the other subject even though they don't hold any importance as such. Maybe reducing other subject or making them practical based instead of theory based would be helpful.

The placements of my college are moderate as the average package is ?6.5 lakhs and the highest package is around ?23.02 lakhs . Campus Life:

The Fest organised by this college is Priyadarshini and the annual fest Rajnigandha. The Fest are not great in comparison to other du college and are not that much celebrated. There are many different kinds books present in library like literature,Hindi, Chemistry, Maths, zoology, biology, botany, political science, History Geography the books are only alloted till 12pm and only for 15 days after that you will be charged if book is not returned Sports and Extracurricular are good but classrooms are not that great most projectors in classrooms don't work . There are many good societies in college like jamini the art society and others but joining has caused students to leave their classes which affects them academically

The placements cell Avenues regarding the placement offers coming to the college. Major companies of the job market come to the campus for recruitment like KPMG, deloitte, zepto, EY, ZS Associates and many more. The students from the final year itself gets eligible for placements. Around 30-40% students get the palcements through the placement drive. The highest package during the last palcement season was around 18 to 20LPA, while the average was 7 to 8LPA.
