Likes

I like the teachers because they are very good in teaching they all clear my doubts easily
I do like the society events and joining the societies it helps me improve in various fields
overall the environment is good and there is no ragging in the college

Dislikes

sometimes the canteen food because it my get cold and they been using the same oil for many dishes
the infrastructure of this college is okay not so good and also not so bad

Course Curriculum Overview

i want to do courses related to accounting that's why i choose this course bcom hons. this curriculum prepares me for real world by teaching me business law,management, financial literacy and so many more things.

Class Size: 170Course Fees: INR 21570 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

In my second and third year i'll be paying rupees 19500 approx fees which is lower than my first year fees which is rupees 21570. I'm also paying examination fees rupees 1510 for my first semester exam and have to do it in all eight semesters. I have to pay rupees 120 daily in my travel and the development fees,lab fees, and other fees all are included in my admission fees while my cuet registration fees was 2500 around including examination fees

Campus Life

There are so many festivals/events which are organized by the college societies but mainly the hype up ones are deep-utsav , vibrations as students enjoy a lot in these to events and they are perfectly organized by the hard work of the teams

Admission

I have applied for north and south campus colleges of du but i specifically prefer shivaji college over others because it is great and i have the priviledge to study in the same college as my cousin sister so she can help me in many things.

Faculty

there are 250 teachers and 6000 students in this college. faculty to student relationship is good. the commerce faculty is very good according to me as i'm a commerce student because teachers teaches us in depth and with clearity

Night Life

there is a good cafeteria but not so big and a great library, many places for the students to sit during class breaks and also there is a huge sports complex provided with many sports equipments specially basketball, football,and volleyball

My simple college life.

Course Curriculum Overview:

In regard to the relevancy of the course Im quite fond of the subjects such as BL CA AND HRM they give us the better insights for both practical and theoritical knowledge making us ready for the "real" world . As For the improvement i feel like there should be some flexibility in GE so that students can choose a sub as per their choice as Hindi is fixed for me which isnt quite suitable for my course and it just drags my CGP down. The frequency if the exam is okay but the timing I feel like its way too fast just after first sem exam we had classes and all test and felt like it went on a spur

Placement Experience:

The placement cell of the college has become very active from this year and is bringing various internship as well as placement opportunities in the college . Students of the 5th sem i.e. 3rd year are eligible for placements. Average package of the college is around ?5-6 lac p.a.. My plan after getting a degree is to go for a corporate job , if provided on campus well and good otherwise to find one myself off campus .

Placement Experience:

Placement in SRCC is very amazing, and way beyond the placements of DU colleges. A lot of big big names in Finance, and consulting domain, recruit from campus including McKinsey & Co., Bain & Company, Kearney, Big 4s and all. Highest package is 35+ LPA and Average Package is 10 LPA. I HAVE PLANNED TO complete my ACCA along with a little work experience.

Not so good Not so bad

I already know about CUET because in my school some teachers came to our school to guide us about CUET .So after my 12th i started preparing for CUET as I already fill the form before my boards on CUET SAMARTH and the application fee was around 1500 for 7 subjects and it differ how many subject u have chosen then after my boards CUET exam date has been came and admit card also a.Then I gave my exams but the exam centre were not so good they were like so far and the area around the centre was not that great.After that I fill the form for DU admission on CSAS portal and it costed around 250 for SC and I gues for general it was about 500.Then CSAS portal has three application phases 1st is for the normal application form,2nd phase is for the reservation and 3rd is for the preference filling and then u wait for the result.And in 1st round I got PGDAV but I upgraded and got Shivaji college which is near to my home and I got botany hons in that....Read More
