The whole campus is filled of trees and plants you can breathe fresh air here there is very greenery

Course Curriculum Overview

There are a lot of placement opportunities here which made me choose this university also they have a good lab and teach you everything properly. I really liked their teaching skills, the exams are quite easy of you prepared really well.

Placement Experience

From 7th semester students can take placements . The most famous company is nagaroo with a package of 5 lakh per annum . The companies offer a quite good level of salary . My plans after the degree is getting the campus placement and then the job.

Fees and Financial Aid

In my case I did not clear my jee mains cut off so I had to pay 10 lakh for 4 years in private admission if I had cleared then I had to pay only 5 lakh but I think 10 lakh is worth the education of here there are also reservations for other castes.

Campus Life

There are a lot of hackathons and many fests that are held which help you to understand who you are and what skills you have. In the library, there are thousands of books which will increase your knowledge. In the classroom, in summer there is no ac, fans only. In sports, Gndu is also a number one.

Admission

The eligibility of the course btech is +2 percentage above 75 percent and if you want to register you can simple search on google guru nanak dev University and open it you can see the admission portal over there , fees , dates everything. Reservation benefits are there in seats they have reserved seats . The exams are quite easy to clear. There is not improvement required

The professors are well educated with a degree of PhD., and they teach things very well that you understand and get good marks in your exams. They all are well educated and they talk very professionally, they are also very friendly and strict when required.

The curriculum changes as per the need of the industry norms so that student can attain knowledge about the basics as well as the niche technologies.This is the aspect to choose the course and the lab work and continuous competitions help us with the industry trends. The management could be improved. The frequency of exams help us learn well and difficulty is between easy to medium.

Placement Experience:

Only skilled or quality are able to get placed. Usually onwards 6th or 7 th semester, students can be eligible depending on the performances. I can do a job if I like to work there. If not, I will do more internships to get hands on experience.

Placement Experience:

Placements are really great of our college as its avg pakage is of 11 lac from computer related branches. Girls are eligible in second year for inters and for boys its generally from 3rd year because of the reservations.

Chandigarh University: Is it worth the investment?

Placement Experience:

The student become eligible for campus placements from 5th semester. The companies visited per year are approximately 200. They claim 100% placements but in reality they divide students into placement and non- placement batches called tpp and ntpp. If you slip up even once, you will be debarred from the tpp group. The highest package is 53 LPA. The average package is 4.5 LPA. Companies like JP Morgan, TCS, Capgemini, PlaySimple, Cognizant, Nokia, Philips, Morgan Stanley, PWC, KPMG, EPAM, Watchguard, High radius, OYO, Coding Ninjas, Samsung, etc have already came. More companies are yet to come. Since the student intake is too much, placements are really hard to get since there is too much competition. In the end, people get hired in mass recruitment companies and get minimum pay of 3-4 lpa. My plans are apply for off-campus jobs and start working in corporate after the degree. If I don't get a job, I haven't decided what I will do next.

Placement Experience:

Placements are good but I am more looking towards offcampus placements. I will do internships from my second year and in first year I'll make the base. I contacted to some of the seniors they said doing hardwork will definitely lead to a good package.

Placement Experience:

After 4 semester students are eligible for sitting in placements. There are alot of company visiting and alot of them take 2-3 with really good package and some handful with good enough packages of nearly10 lpa and the highest package was i think of in last month was of around 60 lpa . My plans after getting a degree is too work my way through companies to a FAANG Companies
