- The lush green campus of Delhi University with wildlife, exorbidant and spacious campus is an awe
- The classrooms are pretty average but the library is spacious and good enough to spend some time with the books
- The hostels and sporting facilities with gardens all around is a special place to be in while you are inside the campus
Dislikes
- The classrooms and the facility should have been upgraded to an apt level
- The cafeteria is small and it is not enough for them to cater to the demands during peak hours
- The campus should have some inner transport network for the students for their convenience.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course and curriculum is pretty in tandem to the needs of the students . In first year the courses offered by the faculty and Drpartment are limited but in the M.A. Final year the course gets diversified enough and specialization is introduced. Students can choose on the basis of what they like and the subject they want to study in the furure.
Fees and Financial Aid
The tuition fees is a bare minimum of INR 7130. The students should secure a JRF in UGC NRT if they want to pursue Ph.D in the future. Thereby the students after pursuing Ph.D , can apply for the post of Assistant Professor in Delhi University or any other university.
Campus Life
The campus life is pretty amazing . Long walks in the aftdrnoon , a fest sometimes the pujas and bhandras are also held by the department . It is a good place for the ones who manage to secure a hostel and thereby it is favourable to look forward to a good college life atleast for the two years that one stays .
Admission
The students have to secure the cut off marks in CUET PG after the completion of Bachelors. The cut off starts from 240 in the first list and comes down to 170. The prospect of gaining admission is difficult as around 27,000 apply for only 1000 seats across the nation . It is advisable to prepare for CUET PG diligently so that one may crack the exam in a go.
Faculty
The class strength is pretty small . Only the students who have qualified CUET PG can attain admission . The professors are one of the best in India in terms of their field. Attendance is no bar to appear for examination. So anyone preparing for some exams or is into job can easily pursue the course. Faculties are approachable and information is provided regularly by the CLASS REPRESENTATIVE.
