Remarks

Neither good nor bad.. it was a fair college to be associated with.

Entrance Preview

Because it was near to my house..Moreover it was a college affiliated to Panjab University. Just 12 km from my home it was a perfectly situated college with a decent atmosphere and surroundings. The canteen and cleanliness were up to the mark making it the simple choice.

Course Curriculum Overview

4

The course curriculum is more sort of theoretical based curricula than anything practical. Still it is a sort of decent college to be in compared to other ridiculous college's. The extra curricular activities are also getting to peak nowadays as far I have heard.

Internships Opportunities

No this college doesn't provide any internship. This is a govt. College so no process of any type of internship.

Placement Experience

2.5

At our time placement scenario was different as only a few companies were tied up with the college and they were only IT based companies. So they picked up bunch of Cse students and hand-picked ECE students those who were good at coding. So core jobs weren't there.

College Events

4

The college had sort of 2 fests one was a technical fest and other was non-technical extra curricular activity based fest. The fest was called APRATIM.. we enjoyed a little bit getting out of the things that were in our regular curricula. The crowd was decent in numbers and not large enough like in PEC.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fee structure is minimal as is in the case of any government university. Yearly it accumulated to about Rs 70000 annually for two semesters, which is quite less as compared to was institutes. So rest assured fee wouldn't be that much of concern for getting admission in this college.

Fees and Financial Aid

Scholarship is available on merit basis in this college I.E. If someone comes in top 5 positions in this college will get scholarship.

Campus Life

3

In all and all I enjoyed being here.. everything in college has its bad and good ends. Gender ratio is quite equivalent ,labs weren't up to the mark.. alot of extra curricular activities happening nowadays in this college so new students will surely love to stay.

Hostel Facilities

2.5

The hostel was like government houses built in different sectors in different areas. Sturdy yet classy.. the mess food was not that good at our time it was just like you pay so you have to it that food anyhow. The mess cleanliness was decent and not that good.

Alumni/Alumna

Alumni was helpful in getting the placements network stronger than before, there notes and experience was quite useful.

Exam Structure

The exam structure was divided into 3 parts at our time. First there was 1st sessional and then 2nd sessional. Out of which best of two was considered out of 50 marks(30 sessional 20 internal) and final exams accumulating to rest of the 50 marks hence completing the course

Admission

After I scored 117 marks in Jee Main I was in a sort of bother if I would get admission in this college or not. Then the day it had manual counselling I got notified that admission in this college can be possible with my score so I went there and got admission in first few seats of Ece batch :)

Faculty

3.5

The faculty of the college was contract based at our time.. they were also not concerned about neither we were concerned about them. At Later stages, some permanent faculty come into place that tried to change all the working system of the college maybe in a good way.
