i would rate the course curricullum as highly relevant and comprehensive . the curriculum is well structured and align perfectly with the industry requirment , covering all the necessary topics and skills .the course work upto date engaging , and challenging providing a thorough understanding of the subject matter.the inclusion of practical project and case studies adds an extra layer of depth.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions

tution fees for ece,and cse is 6000 per semster and it has 8 semester and other departments like civil , mechanical, and electrical has 3000 per semster .1200 are exam fees for each semester and 200 rupees for review. you also get SVMCM ,OASIS etc scholarships

Campus Life

it tarted yet,.has large campuss with play ground and auditorium and libary .it has 4 hostels but unfortunately 2 of them are running one is for male and 1 is for female.and other two hostels are ready to open but not started yet.

Admission

for admision in coochbehar government engineering college you have to give exam west bengal joint entrance examination.after qualifying the exam you have to go through the counselling process.and the cut varies year to year.

Good- Engineering College Review

Placement Experience:

From 7th sem.tcs,infosys,ctz. The highest package is 7 lakh. Avg is 4 lakh. 80 to 90 percent. Do a job in its company. This is my opinion in placement review. TPO cell is good. and give facilities to the student.

Campus Placements of students used to happen but because of the pandemic we are here giving offline placements and preparing from online classes. As far as I know, 50% of my classmates have got placed at different companies with a good package. One of the students got placed at Glassgow Scotland with a package of around 30LPA. The average percentage required to get placed in any company is like 60-70%. I am preparing for Govt job exams and also for different IT companies. All you need is hard work, self-study, and consistent effort so that you can fulfill the company's requirements.

Remarks:

The course I have opted for has one of the best faculties in this college over West Bengal. We have 2 Ieee student society in this college in which students can easily be part of and enhance their skills. The placement cell of our college is highly reputed as they always bring in the best companies for campussing. (Including core companies). We have excellent lab facilities where we can work upon our projects. From this college numerous students have participated in hackathons( including national levels) and bagged prestigious positions. We have an MHRD facilitated research lab.

Coochbehar Govt Engineering College

You have to clear WBJEE/JELET exam to get admission in this college. As it is a government college it needs a good rank. For CSE and EE department you have to score 600-800 rank in jelet and in wbjee 3000-4000 rank is sufficient to get admission. You can go through our college website for more details. Exams held in semester system,2 semester per year, and the college is affiliated under MAKAUT university which has a high standard. Question quality is moderate. Admission process is smooth and as the college is located in North Bengal I would suggest to complete the admission process in one day as it is located in remote area so for many new comers it will be problematic....Read More
