College library is too good and have all kinds of books.
Desk facilities and sittings area for students is also good.

Dislikes

College canteen is average and i don't like its material.
College infrastructure is almost confusing.

I think my attitude towards my dream, which is to become civil servant, and my interest in political science influenced me to pursue this course. I strongly believe that my college improve its facilities like canteen area, hall and some other parts of building. They also need to focus on sports.

Class Size: 60Course Fees: INR 20000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

I don't know about fee structure more but in my college average fees is near twenty thousand. Due to presence of many coaching centers in karol bagh, this area is expensive not only college fees , this area has high school fees and high hostels rents. Job opportunities are not better than north campus colleges but yes it has some opportunities of jobs.

Campus Life

There are no ground in my college to support sport personalities. Sometimes seniors call us to play cricket and volleyball outside my college. Fest are one of my favourite area in my college. Every month college departments announce something. I remember one day, when four department announced their fest together in different parts of my college. All students enjoy their fully.

Admission

1)At present time, students need to appear in CUET exam and score approx 400 or more. 2)Then they need to register on Delhi university admission portal (CSAS portal). 3) Make your preference list and submit. 4)After allotting college students need to pay fees and their admission process is over. I think there are no difficulties in exam. They are easy and come from syllabus.

My college is good because of their students. The crowd of my college is hardworking, silent and very cooperative. My all seniors helps us in every situation. And if i talk about teachers, they are also great and experienced.

Many companies come as ever since USME has been installed at the east campus the tie-ups with the brands happened before that. So we were etaught accordingly the war corporate wanted us and that is how this has been done with solid precision and thus our placements have never jolted.

There is a placement cell in Hansraj College which does provides placements of highest package around 25 lakh of last year and being median package around 7 lakhs, but this for selective courses like economics and BCom Honours and computer science Honours & few of mathematics honours while rest of the courses required to have different kind of skill sets can also go for placement depending up on the role that the companies bring to be hired for

DTU is Totally Worth Spending Time At!

Placement Experience:

Campus placements have been good from what I have noticed this year. BBA and BAE students get almost the same packages and same companies hire the students. Average package for BAE students is 5.5 Lakhs and for BBA it's a little high at 6 lakhs or so.

Our college has a very active and effective placement cell. Major companies like Goldman Sachs, Bain among many others come on campus for not just placements but also internships. Average and Median packages are between 8 and 10 lakh per annum, with highest packages going up to 25 lakhs. Many also go for postgraduate education, such as MBA after CAT, or to reputed colleges like the DSE for MA.

Tale of a First Year

Placement Experience:

The college Offers campus placements which are mostly in the private sector. Students are eligible for Campus Placements after Completing the 4th semester or we say on completion second year. Many companies are brought on board By the placement cell of the college. In this list also Mkinsey, EY, KPMG, Which are some of the prominent rulers of their industries. The median package offered to UG was 6 lakhs per annum, Top 9 students were offered a median salary of 9,00,000 per annum. Around 490 were placed From campus placements of the college out of 1300 students eligible For the placements, These are only approximate figures and not exact. The highest package offered from the college is around 14,00,000 per annum. Talking about my plans after getting the degree is going for highest studies, Either Masters in economics or MBA in business economics.

KM COLLEGE - FILLED WITH COMPLAINTS ?

Course Curriculum Overview:

Too vague to understand, feels extra burden of unnecessary irrelevant topics , extra papers like SEC/VAC simply add to the burden while barely providing with any skills and values as their name suggests . Studying them and preparing for exams add extra stress and unnecessary burden on them , diverting their focus from their core papers , which are already too huge and they study materials or readings simply fail to assist . Areas for improvement would be - proper structured study materials , also proper structured practical subjects / papers for students where they can actually learn or gain knowledge/skills which will be advantageous in their future .

Placement Experience:

I would say the placement opportunities are more available for science , commerce background students in the college there are rarely any placement opportunities for humanities background students . Mostly students starts engaging in placement in the fifth semester .severky companies visited campus every year including Deloitte , EY.TCS etc . Around 40 - 50 percent students from professional courses get the placement annually .even for the students not opting for placement the exposure n the strong alumni network of college help them secure good opportunities outside campus
