Course Curriculum Overview

4

Some things are completely unrelated to engineering, while some are related to the course. Here we have ayurved which is kinda not useful for engineering students. We also have workshops which gives us real life hands on experience on machines.

Internships Opportunities

3.5

If you have enough skills you can bag an internship with ease through various clubs like SRA, Technovanza. Even if you didn't bag an internship there's a lab in the electrical department which provides internship opportunities even for first year and provided Industrial visit as well. Various professors helps us during the internship as well

Placement Experience

4

After 3rd year you should be job ready with various skills and a good cgpa. You should atleast maintain a cgpa of 7.5 to be safe. Companies like Deloitte, Wipro, Morgan Stanley and many more comes for campus placement. Highest package goes upto 40lpa for Electrical department and average is about 12-14 lpa. Placement percentage is about 90%.

Fees and Financial Aid

The college has very less fees compared to other colleges. If you are from Reserved category then you're fees might be very less. The scholarships are available if you put in the effort. The college takes scholarship awareness lecture to let people know about the different scholarships. The campus placement is really good for electrical department. The average is around 12-13lpa. Which is really good for a fresher

Campus Life

4.5

The Campus is small but beautiful. The quad is the place where you'll meet your friends everyday for lunch. There is Freshers event which takes place after few weeks of college and when the first sem is over then comes the big fest of all the committees and all the clubs give it their all for this. Be it cultural, technical, fashion show or anything. It's the best time of the year. You can access libraries anytime and can take any book that you want. There's a basketball court, cricket ground as well as football ground. The seniors are very influential and very motivating.

Admission

Admission process was very simple and straightforward. The college staff during the process is very supportive and helpful. They also know the efforts we took for getting admission in this college. If you're from the reserved category you can get a better department at a comparatively lower score. During admission, you should have all the documents that you uploaded while filling the form for cap rounds. Here we have mid sem and end sem which is very good according to me

Faculty

3.5

Majority of the teachers are approachable and helpful. But still you can't completely rely on them for your academics. You need to put in your own effort. Scoring 7.5 cgpa is kinda easy here as it is autonomous you can recheck paper easily.

The campus placement is decent in the college as compare to other colleges of the city . many companies visited the college every year to hire the skillful engineers from the college and offer them a good amount of package. The option of the offcampus palcement is also there for the students of the other colleges.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Soo ever since kid i was interested in bikes this interest was all for me to take this course , my father is very bike enthusiast and it came down to me , i could easily take mechanical and other engineering cause these are common courses which involves automobile , but since i wanted to follow my passion , i wanted to do specialization in automobile itself and DPCOE was offering this course with great facilities and knowledge providing us a path in this lane of career in this field. According to me curriculum prepares us quite well as they conduct workshop which are relevant to outside world where we'll be working. If there were more practical workshops for us to work on would be great cause automobile engineering is all about practicals rather than theoroticals Professor should try teaching in physical part rather than taking lectures and explaining the concept by just words

Yes there is placement cell of STES which is no different than other tier 3 engineering colleges offering a tier 3 average package depending on who is the recruiter. Students become eligible for campus from 3rd year of their degree. Highest package is something around 55 lakhs offered to a computer engineering student, and average is just like I said for a tier 3 college 5-6 lakhs(above or below). Almost everyone gets placed in the company but some might not.
