Our teaching staff is good. They are very disciplined.
Our college is situated in a very good place. It is situated on the bank of Historic Joysagar Tank.
Our college have proud history. College faculty, college library is good. Our college library is very nice.

Dislikes

Our college gate anytime close. You get in but not out before 2 pm without Principal's notice
Science boy's toilet is not okay, it is very dirty in rainy season. I wish it will be ok within few months
The college is not as much as digitally connected. I wish it will be ok in within few months

Course Curriculum Overview

I like the field where all things are experienced or practical. Physics is a subject which is a type of this. Yes, physics is a practical subject. Our practical lab is not enough good. I think it should improve. In Six months of the semester, 3 months of class, and the other 3 months going with a college program, holidays, and weekends. In six months 2 sessional and one final exam were held.

Class Size: 15Course Fees: INR 5000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

Tuition is a private thing. It is not connected with us. If you are under BPL, then your semester admission fee is around 700. If you are not BPL or if you have a backlog then your fees are about 2000 to 7000. Also, exam form fill-up is extra. It is around 2000 for non-backlog students. UGC scholarship, OBC scholarship, and Labour Union Scholarship are the most popular around us. I have not completed my course, so I couldn't get campus placement. If it exists then I will get it.

Campus Life

Our college held various festival. In this year our college held Bihu festival. It is okay. Books, which you try to find , you may find it. Classrooms are not as much as digitally connected. But it is okay for students. Our college is nicely connected with cultural and sports field. Our students played Inter College game and they bring trophy for our college. In youth festival of. Dibrugarh University our college ended rank in 2 position. It is a pride moment for us. Yes our college have a information group which is run by our student union. Also have a college portal. Which helps us a lot.

Admission

You should pass the HS exam in the science stream. If you get on the merit list then you can admission to this course. You can apply in the e-samarath portal. And the application fee is Zero rupees. I answered it in the previous slide. The government E-Samarath portal is not okay. Their merit list release is not okay. It should improve.

I belong from Physics department of Sibsagar College. It is a nice department. It's faculty members are good. Our teaching staff work hard. They tried for all students get better result . They also helping us in laboratory. They give us Seminer, Practical, Project . Our other faculty also did good job for students and college. But our department have a problem. When college week is held then except 1 or 2 teachers others have do nothing. It's also our fault. We should connect properly. From next college week we will try to interact properly with our respected teachers.

The Peaceful journey of a important chapter of life

Placement Experience:

The placements were smooth and easy, although small companies approached for the placement and the packages were not too much still it was fine. Companies like ICICI Bank, IFFCO TOKIO, BAJAJ, MARUTI approached. The percentage of students getting placement was low around 15-20 percent. My plans after degree is to start preparing for civil services exam

Course Curriculum Overview:

I love computer. And in future I want to be a developer so opt this integrated cource that will complete by BSC and MSC in one go . The respected teachers and senior will also help me in my difficulties as well . The and internships that are provided will also work as a part of experience . The learning experience will be much better then every classrooms are provided with smartboards . AC will be also a good option as the students have to travel for 1hr in bus before the class starts . The semester happens twice every year and 2-3 internals are conducted as well before each semester. Though the exams aren't that hard as it is mostly based on classwork.

A comprehensive review

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose the course because I like Mathematics & Physicss and I want to know more about the subject the course. The faculty is very supportive And helpful. The faculty members are all qualified MSC and PhD in Mathematics. They are very good teachers. Besides the semester examination, there are some class tests held by the faculty. As the subject is very informative the students studied hard to pass the exam.

The Sibsagar college life

I also applied to JB college,Jorhat. And get seat in there also.But i come here because its environment is so good and i like to go far for college life. Jb college is near my home but Sibsagar college is far. So i come here and also get the opportunity to stay in hostel. The admission process of our college is very simple. If you have name on merit list the come to student go to the place where admission is going on take form and fill up. And done. My humble college life in sibsagar college

The eligibility for this course was 70% and I got 76% so yeah eligible for it. The application form can be found at the college website, and there were no fees, I think. I don't fall into the reservation category, so idk about that. It is good for students if the exams are frequent. 2 sessional exams before the end-of-semester exam.
