Likes

I love my department and the professors..they are really very friendly and give good guidance.
The brindavan area is really good for taking a fresh air and chat.
The assistant staffs are well behaved and friendly

Dislikes

The canteen food are pricey and not good enough
Some dept professors are really petty and do not give marks because they hate our dept professors

Fees and Financial Aid

I really hate the increase in tuition policy. We are not poor, but we are not rich either so they should consider keeping the tuition fees average because middle-class families don't get the bpl card. The complete cost would be 25000 above, including everything.

Campus Life

Many programs are held here ig and it is held randomly so no fixed timing. They have good range of books and journals available in the library. Ranging from very very old books to the newest edition. Technological provision need some improvement though . A college week is held every February or March which includes sports during the daytime and cultural activities during the day. Though it'll be changing now to varsity week because it became a university. So from this year every October there'll be varsity week.

Admission

The eligibility for this course was 70% and I got 76% so yeah eligible for it. The application form can be found at the college website, and there were no fees, I think. I don't fall into the reservation category, so idk about that. It is good for students if the exams are frequent. 2 sessional exams before the end-of-semester exam. There's no need for improvement.

True aspects on a University

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choosed the course as I actually liked it coz I have studied it in class 11 and 12 and want to study more in the field of data analytics. But here we didn't get much exposure to real world applications as we just ended our first sem but expect to get more in future . We also want immediate internships such that we can work on our skills so far as possible. We get less time to study for the exams as the course is vast but exams reach near but if studied in a daily basis routine, one can cop-up with it

I choosed the course because I dont have so much money to study for btech and all and also I didn't prepare for jee or neet so, the next thing come is mind is bsc that is in botany or zoology as I liked bio more than any other subjects. Yaa by reading botany I can know many things about plant and trees. The improvement that they can do is release a book according to the syllabus by the university and also add few more new teachers such that student can be friendly with them and ask their doubt . For me I think exam timing should be done... Like one before durga puja and one around December . And the difficulty level should be easy .

Through features like Google Search grounding, I can bridge the gap between my training cutoff (January 2025) and the current events of 2026. Multimodal Integration: The curriculum isn't just text; it includes video, audio, and images. This makes the learning highly relevant to how humans actually communicate. Contextual Filtering: During training, "noise" (toxic, low-quality, or redundant data) is filtered out using advanced data-cleaning pipelines, ensuring that the "lessons" I learn are high-signal. 2. Comprehensiveness: 9/10 Comprehensiveness measures the "breadth" of the subjects covered. Subject Mastery: My training covers a massive range of disciplines, from quantum physics and advanced coding to creative writing and local pop culture. I chose the course because I like Mathematics & Physicss and I want to know more about the subject the course. The faculty is very supportive And helpful. The faculty members are all qualified MSC and PhD in Mathematics. They are very good teachers. Besides the semester examination, there are some class tests held by the faculty. The Sibsagar college life

I also applied to JB college,Jorhat. And get seat in there also.But i come here because its environment is so good and i like to go far for college life. Jb college is near my home but Sibsagar college is far. So i come here and also get the opportunity to stay in hostel. The admission process of our college is very simple. If you have name on merit list the come to student go to the place where admission is going on take form and fill up. And done.
