Likes
- The professor of the college are very well educated and friendly, which helps us understand the concept easily.
- The college have a very good campus to sit and chill the break time and the college have a canteen with good foods.
- The college have there own Indore and outdoor stadium also they have both boys and girls common room, gym and boys and girls hostel near the college within walking distance.
Dislikes
- The gate closed at 10 am and you can't get out of the college untill 2pm without department teachers permission.
- More infrastructure need till I was studying but now they are building it.
- Need sports teachers which was not present at my time.
Course Curriculum Overview
There was every year college weeks in which every students need to perform in solo and group compititions on every aspect like sports, cultural and many more. Every department will get points and trophy only individual events and also on overall points.
Fees and Financial Aid
The admission fee is approx 7000-8000, but if you belong to BPL category then no fee needed. The examination fee per semester is approx 1000-1500. If your course have practical the you have to pay practical fee which will be near 250-300 extra on examination fee. You can avail scholarships according to caste and also merits, provided by centra and state.
Campus Life
The college organised freshers day every years. And some event to encourage college students to get the stage. The college library have each and every books needs for each department and many more books,newpapers, margines and some important and interactual books. The college also have a book stall inside the college campus so that students can buy books copy pen pencil etc. The college have both indoor and outdoor stadium, games available in the college.
Hostel Facilities
The hostel fee is very affordable to everyone and there is a warden in the hostel to take care of students and also good cook. The hostel have big room provided bed,cloths stand, study table and chair to each and every students. The hostel have a big yard to play games and gym near the hostel. Rent room and many PG are available near the college areas within the walking distance.
Admission
I choose Sibsagar College Joysagar then others colleges because it was in my hometown and a very renowned college of sibsagar which have very good facilities and passing ratios of students. Sibsagar College is good for mathematics and I want to do B.Sc in mathematics.
Faculty
There is a facility room in the department building itself. In my Mathematics department there are 6 facilities. Anyone can reach and consult to any faculty to solve there doubts at the free time and even can call them.
Night Life
The college classes get over at 5pm and the college students union talks and discuss the works to be done in the college. We have the biggest tank of Assam near our college where students can sit and chill the sun set view with a cup of tea and coffee with snacks.
