Likes

I liked the environment. The college is at the backside of huge joysagar tank. The surrounding environment is surreal.
The other thing I love is the departments how neatly they are arranged and the garden in front known as brindavan is very famous.
The most amazing is the Library.it has access to all kind of books.

Dislikes

The toilets . The toilets are lacking. From the science building we have to walk a certain distance to toilet
The canteen is little bit expensive and space is small
The classes are hectic. We the students has classes for the whole day and sometimes it exhausting.

Course Curriculum Overview

The experienced teachers and advanced laboratory work influenced me to take the course. The exams are within 6 months for a semester. Within the semester 2 sessional exams are taken with a gap of 1-2 months

Class Size: 33Course Fees: INR 7300 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

During the whole 6 semesters, the total fee structure is approx 30000. If the students have an income certificate or BPL certificate their fees are significantly low, almost 500-1000. There are scholarships like OBC and NSP for financially weak students.

Campus Life

The overall campus life was good. Starting from the freshers to farewell and concerts to sportsweek all occasions are very enjoyable. The nss and ncc groups are very active in college. The accessibility of books and journals are very good as almost all kind of books are found there and we can easily borrow them for a week with our library card.

Admission

The admission process was offline in the office of the college. The application form and fees structure is found on the official website of college. The exams are frequent but with proper gap for preparing the exams.

The faculty members of department are very experienced. They take time for the whole class so that all the students can progress at the same time. They help us handle the practical classes and taught us all the essential knowledge which help us in further studies.

Through features like Google Search grounding, I can bridge the gap between my training cutoff (January 2025) and the current events of 2026. Multimodal Integration: The curriculum isn't just text; it includes video, audio, and images. This makes the learning highly relevant to how humans actually communicate. Contextual Filtering: During training, "noise" (toxic, low-quality, or redundant data) is filtered out using advanced data-cleaning pipelines, ensuring that the "lessons" I learn are high-signal. 2. Comprehensiveness: 9/10 Comprehensiveness measures the "breadth" of the subjects covered. Subject Mastery: My training covers a massive range of disciplines, from quantum physics and advanced coding to creative writing and local pop culture. The Peaceful journey of a important chapter of life

Placement Experience:

The placements were smooth and easy, although small companies approached for the placement and the packages were not too much still it was fine. Companies like ICICI Bank, IFFCO TOKIO, BAJAJ, MARUTI approached. The percentage of students getting placement was low around 15-20 percent. My plans after degree is to start preparing for civil services exam

Course Curriculum Overview:

I love computer. And in future I want to be a developer so opt this integrated cource that will complete by BSC and MSC in one go . The respected teachers and senior will also help me in my difficulties as well . The and internships that are provided will also work as a part of experience . The learning experience will be much better then every classrooms are provided with smartboards . AC will be also a good option as the students have to travel for 1hr in bus before the class starts . The semester happens twice every year and 2-3 internals are conducted as well before each semester. Though the exams aren't that hard as it is mostly based on classwork.

A comprehensive review

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose the course because I like Mathematics & Physicss and I want to know more about the subject the course. The faculty is very supportive And helpful. The faculty members are all qualified MSC and PhD in Mathematics. They are very good teachers. Besides the semester examination, there are some class tests held by the faculty. As the subject is very informative the students studied hard to pass the exam.

I also applied to JB college,Jorhat. And get seat in there also.But i come here because its environment is so good and i like to go far for college life. Jb college is near my home but Sibsagar college is far. So i come here and also get the opportunity to stay in hostel. The admission process of our college is very simple. The eligibility for this course was 70% and I got 76% so yeah eligible for it. The application form can be found at the college website, and there were no fees, I think. I don't fall into the reservation category, so idk about that. It is good for students if the exams are frequent. 2 sessional exams before the end-of-semester exam.
