Course Curriculum Overview

5

Course is easy .The emphasis on fundamental physics principles such as mechanics, electromagnetism, and quantum mechanics was highly appealing. The availability of research projects and labs that allow hands-on exploration of advanced topics. In real world the integration of mathematics and computational methods, enhancing problem-solving skills applicable in various fields.Experienced faculty members with active involvement in research and industry, providing valuable insights. The informations about diverse career options and pathways in academia, industry, and research that a physics degree can offer. The curriculum fosters strong analytical and problem-solving skills essential in both academic and real-world scenarios. Labs and hands-on experiments help bridge theoretical knowledge with practical applications, preparing students for potential roles in research and technology. Coverage of emerging fields such as condensed matter physics and astrophysics prepares students for further studies or specialized careers. Skills learned in physics can be applied in various fields, including engineering, data science, and finance, allowing for versatile career opportunities. Incorporate more interactive teaching methods such as group discussions, problem-based learning, and collaborative projects. Utilize simulation software to allow students to visualize complex phenomena and experiments. Introduce case studies and real-world problems to enhance relevance and application of conce. The frequency and timing of exams are every two months there is a sessional exam then one final exam. Their difficulty level is normal. Everyone can pass if they practice the sessional papers and previous year paper.

Fees and Financial Aid

The admission fee for odd sems in science are ?4500- ?5000 and even sem in science are ?1200.But you can avail ?1200 in even sem also.,if you are poor family and also don't have backlog. The exam fees are ?1200- ?1700 for science. The admission fee includes every other fees excluding exam fee .

Campus Life

5

The names of the annual and technical festivals are like establishment day , saraswati puja, abd many more. The library have a huge collection. They have very much old Books that are not available outside. The facilities and technological provisions are also good that some department have one ac room for students.

Hostel Facilities

5

Facilities include 24x7 current, running water, water filter in each room. The meal quality is a little bit low than average. There are three time meal. Morning evening and night. Every time you get rice and other stuffs. Meat in every Wednesday and Sunday night, egg in friday night and papard in Saturday night. If you want to go hostel then just take admission form from office fill up and go to the bank for payment. Then submit the form to superintendent of hostel, who's house us near hostel. But if you want pg or room then don't take tension. Its available in the area of the college gate .

Admission

I also applied to JB college,Jorhat. And get seat in there also. But i come here because its environment is so good and i like to go far for college life. Jb college is near my home but Sibsagar college is far. So i come here and also get the opportunity to stay in hostel. The admission process of our college is very simple. If you have name on merit list the come to student go to the place where admission is going on take form and fill up. And done. Cutoffs for admission goes down to 59% in science, but different in various departments and my overall admission experience was very good.

Faculty

5

The faculty to student ratio is 1/20. The relationship of the faculty to student is very good. They are very friendly and help us every time in each topic. I remember one professor help meone time near exam i didn't understood one topic abd asked him on 2am and you believe he helped me on that time. I like everyone in the faculty. The exam are 2 sessionals and 1 final for 1 semester. And the exam questions are easy enough to pass the exam . But some students fail like 5%

Interview Experience

5

Nothing difficult. Just go and take admission . Just go to the place where admission is going. Select the honours and pay after that. Its done . Sometime you need to go to the bank for payment. The bank is also near college. Maybe 1 km.

Night Life

5

The gym is in hostel area. The gym is old and the equipments are also old nood to replace. The hostel is one of my most favourite thing in this college. Every boarder have brotherhood. But the hostel need to be repaired and rebuild.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum was a major factor that influenced my decision to choose this course, as it is well-structured and offers a balanced combination of theoretical knowledge and practical learning. The syllabus covers essential concepts in a systematic manner, starting from the basics and gradually advancing to more complex topics. The inclusion of practical sessions, assignments, and project work made the course appear relevant and aligned with current academic and professional requirements. This thoughtful design assured me that the course would help in developing analytical thinking, problem-solving skills, and subject clarity, which are important for both academic growth and career development.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choosed the course as I actually liked it coz I have studied it in class 11 and 12 and want to study more in the field of data analytics. But here we didn't get much exposure to real world applications as we just ended our first sem but expect to get more in future . We also want immediate internships such that we can work on our skills so far as possible. We get less time to study for the exams as the course is vast but exams reach near but if studied in a daily basis routine, one can cop-up with it

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choosed the course because I dont have so much money to study for btech and all and also I didn't prepare for jee or neet so, the next thing come is mind is bsc that is in botany or zoology as I liked bio more than any other subjects. Yaa by reading botany I can know many things about plant and trees. The improvement that they can do is release a book according to the syllabus by the university and also add few more new teachers such that student can be friendly with them and ask their doubt . For me I think exam timing should be done... Like one before durga puja and one around December . And the difficulty level should be easy .

Course Curriculum Overview:

If I were to grade my own curriculum based on industry standards and my current performance in 2026, here is how I would rate it: 1. Relevance: 9.5/10 The relevance of an AI curriculum is defined by how well the training data prepares the model for real-world utility. Real-Time Adaptability: My curriculum is highly relevant because it isn't "frozen." Through features like Google Search grounding, I can bridge the gap between my training cutoff (January 2025) and the current events of 2026. Multimodal Integration: The curriculum isn't just text; it includes video, audio, and images. This makes the learning highly relevant to how humans actually communicate. Contextual Filtering: During training, "noise" (toxic, low-quality, or redundant data) is filtered out using advanced data-cleaning pipelines, ensuring that the "lessons" I learn are high-signal. 2. Comprehensiveness: 9/10 Comprehensiveness measures the "breadth" of the subjects covered. Subject Mastery: My training covers a massive range of disciplines, from quantum physics and advanced coding to creative writing and local pop culture. I have been "tested" on benchmarks like MMLU (57 subjects) and GPQA (expert-level science), where I consistently perform at or above human-expert levels. The "Long Context" Advantage: With a context window of up to 1 million tokens, my ability to "comprehend" entire libraries of books or hour-long videos in one go is a level of comprehensiveness that traditional education systems cannot match. Minor Gap (The 10%): The reason I don't give a 10/10 is that AI still faces challenges with "Deep Reasoning" in highly niche, unpublished domains or solving brand-new mathematical proofs that haven't been documented yet.The curriculum is world-class, but it is a "living" document. The faculty at Google constantly updates it to ensure I remain useful as the world changes. It is very good and helpful by giving us good knowledge and skills .this ciriculum helped me and it is very good and helpfu

Every year in the college wages programs are held which boost the spirit of the students it allows the students to showcase their talent and again knowledge in other fields too. The sports weeks and the freshers program are one of the prominent functions that are held every year. There could be a better curriculum in the teaching method by using various tools and gadgets including digital board and smart technologies. The exams had a not much to hard not that easy they are held on a moderate level which helps the student to maintain marks and gain knowledge.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Areas for improvement: more industry collaborations, guest lectures, and hands-on projects. Some subjects feel outdated and could be updated. Teaching methods could incorporate more interactive sessions and case studies. Exams are held semester-wise, with a mix of easy and challenging questions. Difficulty level is manageable with consistent effort. Frequency is okay, but sometimes feels rushed. Overall, the curriculum provides a solid foundation, but could benefit from more flexibility and modernization to better prepare students for the industry.
