Sibsagar Commerce College was established in 1969.This college is affiliated to Dibrugarh University, Dibrugarh. This college has different position of its own in field of higher education in upper Assam. The college is accreditatied by NAAC, banglore. The Sibsagar Commerce College started its journey with a few students under the Principal ship of Gouri Bhusan Baruah and it was flourished into full-fledged college under the Principal Smt. Dipali Chaliha.
The mission is to improve higher education to the eligible youths in the discipline of commerce and allied subjects including professional courses and objective to impart vocational training for livelihood through self-entrepreneurship.
