I opt for this college because it was closer to my home and I applied for other colleges as well and got selected but for the fees structure and my financial condition I dropped the plan for going other colleges however it's the best college you can say under dibrugarh university.

There is no cut off in sibsagar commerce College everyone can take admission in this college the fee structure is minimum and affordable but you can gain minimum knowledge here . They don't conduct any entrance exam also

I choose this course because I wanted to get a undergraduate degree in commerce and further pursue higher education in commerce and then to get a job related to accounting. The student to faculty ratio on average is 40:1. The teachers teach with examples and try to explain with practical problems. They take internal exams twice every semester. They give topics to students to present with PowerPoint in the classroom with latest information of industries, companies and other finance related information. It helps in personal and communicational development of the students. The teachers gives final semester students a task to exhibit handmade things and to sell them every year and to prepare a project related to enterprises. However from last year a subject names entrepreneurial development is included in the curriculum and the project was removed. The term exams are held every semester on time. that is in May and October. It is not very difficult to pass but most of the students cannot pass with a good percentage.

The course curriculum is spread across 3 years. The exams are conducted every semester and the marks are given on 3:1 ratio basis, with 75 marks for semester exam and rest 25 constitutes the sessionals conducted mid semester.

Course structure is of 3 years durations with 6 semesters. Exams are held at the end of each semester. There's a compulsory subject of environmental studies in 2nd year and project work + dissertation is to be submitted in the final year.

Overall our Sibsagar Commerce College is very good. As it is situated near the Sivasagar Tank so the environment of our college is very peaceful and very beautiful. Our college is progressing day by day in every field. In every field like Education, Cultural, Sports etc our college is doing well. Our college is one of the recognised college in Assam.
