Actually I opt for this college because it's was closer to my home I also applied for other colleges as well and got selected but the fees structure and the financial condition didn't allowed me however it's one of the best or I can say the best college under Dibrugarh University in case of the regular classes and experience teachers

Not all courses are available this college have 11th 12th and for graduation BCOM BA & BCA they should have to add BSC and for futher study they should also have to add masters degree also. As per students information the faculty of bcom is to poor.

I select the college because this sibsagar Commerce college is located in the central area of Sivasagar District. The campus is suburban and very beautiful with a big tank near the college. The environment is peaceful and calming for the students. Also there areown canteen and library at the college. The college has wifi and others facilities. It organises a college week every year also some other programs, seminars and other important activities for students. The college is best in all aspects. The teachers of the college is highly qualified and good in explaining things. They helps every student if they face any problem and make them participate in other extra activities also. They are friendly and not rigid. There is a computer lab also. The courses at the college are in higher secondary, undergraduate and postgraduate level. The fees vary in every course almost 10-20 thousands. The undergraduate courses are B.com, BCA, and BA and the postgraduate level courses are M.Com and PGDCA. Admission to all undergraduate programs are based on merit basis and for M.Com, an entrance is to be given by students which is held by the Dibrugarh University with which the college is affiliated. The students may receive scholarships of central government or government of Assam where the teachers and staff of the college helps students to get information and apply. There are popular major for commerce and arts such as accountancy, banking, e-commerce, marketing and human resource management. For arts, Economics, English, Sociology etc.The college provides some government courses and professional diploma courses of 1 year that are hospitality management, GST, mass communication, beautician etc. which are provided by government (Skill development courses). The college provides hostel facility to girls on the campus. And for boys out of campus. But the college campus is too small. And the pass percentage is not more than 50 percentage. Admission process is fairly simple.Students interested in this course can fill the admission form and will be selected based on their merit in higher secondary which should be 45% minimum (for general and OBC) and 40% for SC/ST. They should've mathematics/statistics/CAES as one of their subjects.

Student should've completed his 10+2 or an equivalent examination with minimum required percentage. Then, they can fill up the admission form for this course that can be obtained from the college office by paying Rs. 100.

Overall our Sibsagar Commerce College is very good. As it is situated near the Sivasagar Tank so the environment of our college is very peaceful and very beautiful. Our college is progressing day by day in every field. In every field like Education, Cultural, Sports etc our college is doing well. Our college is one of the recognised college in Assam.
