First thing is the faculty, the teachers here are the best and hardworking as well. They help the students to reach their potential.
Second thing is the environment, environment here is a good for study.Also this college ranks 2nd in sports.

Dislikes

Firstly the washrooms are not well maintained.
Secondly, infrastructure is also not so good.

Course Curriculum Overview

I have opted this course B.Sc. (Hons.) Mathematics as I have a deep interest in this subject from starting. And also this course has a great scope for the future and career of students. The curriculum of the course is overall good. Students can choose this course if they are interested to know more about it and gain knowledge in the relevant field. The exams are held after every six months semester wise and the difficulty level is also not so high. Students can easily score good CGPA studying well.

Class Size: 38Course Fees: INR 14000 per year

Placement Experience

Last semester students are eligible for the campus placements. Although this college offers placement but not a surety for the same. The average package is 5 lacs andthe highest is 23 lacs as of till now. After graduation you may give the entrance exams to get admission for the masters degree.

Fees and Financial Aid

Yearly , mine fees for this course is rs.14000. Talking about myself, I did not take any scholarship but there are many students who have taken it. Also the students can apply for the same on th basis of reservation quotas or any scholarship exams. I have not opted any internship but there is internship opportunity for different departments in the college under IAPC.

Campus Life

There are organised fests in the college . Annual cultural fest held this year was "Saptrang-24" in which a music band was called. The students enjoyed a lot. Many film actors and actresses visit the college for promotion of their movies. Recently Sidharth Malhotra with Disha Patni and Rashi Khanna visited Lakshmibai College for the promotion of their movie "Yodha". The college also has library filled of books and journals. Students can issue them.

Admission

I was allotted this college on the based of my preferences filled after the CUET Exam. Students willing to take part have to first give CUET then after releasing of its score, you need to apply for the seat allocation program and marks your preferences. If you got your satisfied college, then you may freeze other wise can take part in next rounds.You can find the application form for CUET on the official website of NTA and for seat allocation you may go to court.samarth.ac.in

Faculty

The faculty here is highly qualified teachers who are educated from very great institutes. They help every child to grow and to develop themselves. Students can freely anytime interact with them andtake their help. Their way of teaching is also great and they are always there to solve any kind of doubts of students and to help them.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I would rate the B.Sc. mathematics honours curriculum as good in terms of relevance and comprehensiveness. The syllabus is concept oriented and well strong theoretical foundations which is helpful for higher studies and competitive exams. The topics across semester is structured and this course is quite demanding and can feel intensive specially in the initial semester while the curriculum is academically, strong, incorporating more application based components could make it more better or balanced because it lacks there, and it's not more practically oriented.

A college review full of pros and cons

Course Curriculum Overview:

The core subjects are very well divided, the main problem arises with the other additional subjects which requires efforts as same as the other subject even though they don't hold any importance as such. Maybe reducing other subject or making them practical based instead of theory based would be helpful.

The Life of A DRC student

Placement Experience:

The placements of my college are moderate as the average package is ?6.5 lakhs and the highest package is around ?23.02 lakhs . Many prestigious companies like delloite, accenture have held various placement sessions in DRC and it's overall a good to place for companies to get high skilled students. The placement cell is very active too which makes it possible for our college to get many internships and placements opportunities.

i think it's very outdated and not of any practical use unless you go for research and scientific fields of science. it does not prepare much for the real world and current market but teaches about biology and chemistry which helps sometimes. the frequency if exam is fine.

Campus Life:

The Fest organised by this college is Priyadarshini and the annual fest Rajnigandha. The Fest are not great in comparison to other du college and are not that much celebrated. There are many different kinds books present in library like literature,Hindi, Chemistry, Maths, zoology, biology, botany, political science, History Geography the books are only alloted till 12pm and only for 15 days after that you will be charged if book is not returned Sports and Extracurricular are good but classrooms are not that great most projectors in classrooms don't work . There are many good societies in college like jamini the art society and others but joining has caused students to leave their classes which affects them academically

The Best is Yet to Come !!

I had applied for a number of other colleges, but after the allotment got it into the present one. but I am totally happy here about my course, the co- curricular activities and about the faculties. If I start to compare my college with other colleges, there are a number of places where my college is a bit behind, may be in the case of infrastructure or placements.The main reason I was not able to be of another college was about the marks that I achieved in cuet ug and I guess more preparation was necessary. The admission process was easy, where the admission letter was given along with my marksheet of 12th standard and cuet scores was submitted.
