I think my college life is so nice just because of my good college as well as helping teachers and seniors. But a few things I would like to change in my college and that would be food in the canteen, reopening of atm in college.
Entrance Preview
Its commerce faculty is good and college ambience is quite nice. its environment for developing skills apart from studies are also is so nice and Students get so many opportunities to present themselves in many events like an annual day, fest, sports day etc. This college also provides financial aid to financially weak students by providing the scholarship. The placement society of the college is also so supportive and dedicated that every year they invite many companies to recruit students.
Course Curriculum Overview
My course i.e. B.com. hons. Have so many future opportunities in the field of commerce. One can opt. for CA, MBA or further studies in this field. It certainly provides a good vision for the future for students to focus on.one can also opt. For M.com for research purposes.
Internships Opportunities
Yes, my college provides a scholarship. Recently it provided an opportunity to work for three months in Lok Sabha as an assistant accountant. The stipend they were giving was 3000 per month and other companies like kpmg and urbanpro and many more companies also visit for providing internship with an average stipend of 2500 per month.
Placement Experience
Placement is quite good. The placement cell is so active and always work for making it more better. Recently Tresvista visited our college with a package of 6 lpa and its recruitment process is still going.KPMG visited our college which recruited 29 students on 3.56lpa package. Then Concentrix also visited with a package of 2.6lpa which recruited 30 approx Students. After that People scout visited with 2.6lpa which recruited 20-25students. ICICI Prudential visited with 2.2lpa which picked up 20 students.
College Events
The annual fest is always exciting. It is titled as TIDE . Fresher's party We have annual sports days. Painting competition. Dramatic society is also very active and regularly organises competition like street play or acting competition. Singing competition organised by Sarag society.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fee structure is feasible. As this college is centrally funded college so it provides subsidies to students in fee. As now being a commerce student I pay 10600 as my annual fee. A fee of other courses like BSc and ba are so feasible that ranges from 5000 to 9000.
Fees and Financial Aid
College provides book aide and scholarship facility. The judgement is totally dependent on the interview that the students have to give to teachers. Generally, the fee concessions are provided as a portion of the annual fee.
Campus Life
The college life is so good here. One can enjoy there free time in the canteen or in huge grounds. Students here can also participate in elections as well. Everyone is equally treated and everyone is respected according to there own priorities. Freshers get so welcoming environment that they can easily fit themselves in college.labs are huge.
Hostel Facilities
Till now there is no hostel in my college. But the pg is there near my college in Satya Niketan. Which ranges from 5000to9000 which sometimes include food and sometimes not. But the best part with this pgs is that it is located in a 250m distance from the college. The food facility is plenty which pocket-friendly to students.
Alumni/Alumna
The seniors were so supportive and helped me throughout. Whether it's helping in the study or in finding pgs or books they have always helped me.
Exam Structure
In my second year, I was having practices and that not much hectic because it was there for only two days a week. In each semester there are two internal tests and then some assignments which totally comprise 25marks. The semester exams are of 75 marks which are normally moderate.
Admission
I got admission on the merit basis. After I got the results of class 12, I applied the form online for merit list cutoffs on Delhi University official site and the charge was so minimal. After that, I waited for the lists to be out, according to my percentage I have to wait for my list and in the 5th cutoff, I found my eligibility in this college. So I got the admission after clearing all the formalities.
Faculty
The faculties in my college are highly qualified. Most of them are a PhD degree holder. They teach us so much dedication and always there to help us. With studies they also keep us telling about future options which are available to us in future.
