Every sector is easily reachable - also i was getting CSE in thapar - admissions are through josaa counsilling for btech. You need under 70k rank for OS general to get admission here. I choose these college because of its location and placement. As I talked to my coaching senior and they told me I can perfer this college over other nits lower branch and IIIT s. As alumini of these college visits regularly for guidance and help. Addmission process is very smooth and chill not extra documents are required during verification. after jee I applied to many colleges , such as - PEC , NIT durgapur , IIEST Shibpur , IISER Mohali , IISER Bhopal , NIT Jamshedpur , NIT Patna , NIT Jalandhar , Jadavpur University etc . At last I got PEC in the councelling . I did not choose PEC , the CSAB council only gave this seat . Hence I did not reject any other colleges . Among all the colleges I applied , except IITs and top NITs and JU , PEC was the best college . That's why i choose it . No other reason . I couldn't get into IIT cuz I failed JEE ADV . So I eventually ended up here with my JEE Mains rank . Admission process - Through josaa , csab , dasa . Cutoff varies a lot . for CSE the last rank might be 25k in CSAB . placements + college life is primary reason for choosing pec as it is better in placemnts than nit kurukshetra jalandhar raipur and hamirpur also it has better college life than iiit's like bhopal pune and guwahati . also the city chandigarh is better than all other city it is also the second cleanest city...Read More
