MACE- Overall review

The course curriculum includes a vast area of electronics and communication. it includes very basic knowledge of electronics. For a real-world application, we are undergoing certain internship which utilizes our curriculum. I think including more project-orienting learning will help to improve our curriculum. We have 2 internal exams and 1 university exam in a semester and its difficulty level changes for every exam, usually, exams test our memories and analytical skills.

Mahindra, Startups, etc. are providing INTERNSHIP for us. They help us to improve our skill set and provide an industrial experience. The college also encourages us to find internships in interested domains.

Students become eligible for placements from the sixth semester. So many companies are visiting college for placement TCS, Soti, Accenture, Wrench, etc. Packages also vary from year to year minimum of 4.5 LPA is there.

Our college comes under the category of aided College. The fee structure is also the same as government college. For odd semester 5260 and even semester 3500 are we paying as college fees. For economically backward students college is providing scholarships. The students are also eligible for all government scholarship schemes. The college also provides placement for students who are eligible. Renowned companies like Tata, Mahindra, and Accenture are coming for placements also placement cell provide opportunities to do internships.

We having mainly 2 events, Takshak and Sanskriti. Takshak is our national tech festival happening in the odd semester which is conducted all by students. Sanskriti is a national arts festival every semester also conducted by students. Our library has a huge collection of texts to refer to. Every department has its own library. International societies such as IEEE and ASME are also in college.

Every room will have 3-5 people staying. Everyone will have separate cupboards, beds, and study tables. Every day will have a different menu. We will have breakfast, Lunch, tea, and dinner. The quality of meals is satisfying. We could register through the college portal for the hostel and it is super affordable

To become eligible we need to pass the Kerala Entrance Examination and also a minimum of 60 % in +2 mark. No extra application fees are there only government fees. The reservation also came under the KEAM exam.

Faculty at Mar Athanasius College of Engineering are highly qualified from famous institutions such as IITs, IISTs, and NITs, with many holding PhDs. Faculty that educate us have extensive knowledge and experience in all disciplines, and they offer us adequate materials. The lab's faculty members are also highly skilled at providing guidance.
