Likes
- Campus is really beautiful. Its a small campus but has plenty of lush green trees and pleasant views. The infrastructure is also pretty good
- We have a diverse population of students from all over kerala which helps and promotes integrity
- Hostel life and college life is excellent if you manage to find the right friend circle. Ragging and other illegal activities are strictly prohibited.
Dislikes
- There are not many events conducted in college which are extra curricular and mostly there are no celebrations of festivals like diwali, christmas etc.
- Syllabus is pretty outdated mostly because of university but you can expect changes since the college has recently become autonomous.
Course Curriculum Overview
you wont be satisfied with the old curriculam because it is outdated and in this developing times with the present syllabus there is not much to learn. Exposure to hackathons, projects , seminars are less compared to other colleges. One has to find and apply by themselves since publicity of such events is less in the college. Again this is compared to other colleges.
Internships Opportunities
every student has to do at least one internship of minimum duration of 15 days in their college life. Very few companies come into campus looking for interns, mostly you have to apply to institues by yourself and get approval from college. IQVIA , BOSCH and such companiers hire interns.
Placement Experience
Placement drives begin in the start of seventh semester. there are various companies with different eligibility criteria like SOTI, Kalkitech, Keyvalue , techmahindra , TATA elexi, TCS etc. Depending on the branch students get placed. placements are best for brances like CS,EC,MECH,CIVIL.
Fees and Financial Aid
tution fees is affordable and economical compared to other colleges. Various scholarships and facilities are provided under different categories. Awards and money rewards are also provided to students who excel in their stuides or extra curricular. Campus employments are present but not satisfactory.
Campus Life
campus is really pretty. infrastucture is pretty good. even though if campus is small in terms of area all buildings are easily accessable. we have two major fests TAKSHAK and SANSKRITI. Various clubs like MADC , MMC , DIVAAT , NSS, IOT , IEEE, IEDC etc are present. Sports facilites like basketball, football, badminton etc are present.
Hostel Facilities
Hostel life is the most memorable part of ones college life. hostels are excellent and the facilities provided are also top notch. Food is amazing and we have a vast variety , quality of food is also good. rooms are 3 or 4 seater with common washrooms. dormitary is also present for 12 people. hostel is alloted on the basis of academic performance and distance from home of the tenant
Admission
Since I enrolled during Corona period admission process was a bit tiring due to different allotment days. All procedures are really simple once you get selected. For selection you must clear KEAM exam with rank under 5k.
Faculty
Faculties are highly qualified, have degrees from prestigious institues like IITs,NITs etc. They are usually strict when it comes to academics and also are very understanding. Of course when students explore and take steps in academics by themselves faculties are helping and supportive.
