Campus is really beautiful. Its a small campus but has plenty of lush green trees and pleasant views. The infrastructure is also pretty good
We have a diverse population of students from all over kerala which helps and promotes integrity
Hostel life and college life is excellent if you manage to find the right friend circle. Ragging and other illegal activities are strictly prohibited.

Dislikes

There are not many events conducted in college which are extra curricular and mostly there are no celebrations of festivals like diwali, christmas etc.
Syllabus is pretty outdated mostly because of university but you can expect changes since the college has recently become autonomous.

you wont be satisfied with the old curriculam because it is outdated and in this developing times with the present syllabus there is not much to learn. Exposure to hackathons, projects , seminars are less compared to other colleges. One has to find and apply by themselves since publicity of such events is less in the college. Again this is compared to other colleges.

Internships Opportunities

every student has to do at least one internship of minimum duration of 15 days in their college life. Very few companies come into campus looking for interns, mostly you have to apply to institues by yourself and get approval from college. IQVIA , BOSCH and such companiers hire interns.

Placement drives begin in the start of seventh semester. there are various companies with different eligibility criteria like SOTI, Kalkitech, Keyvalue , techmahindra , TATA elexi, TCS etc. Depending on the branch students get placed. placements are best for brances like CS,EC,MECH,CIVIL.

Fees and Financial Aid

tution fees is affordable and economical compared to other colleges. Various scholarships and facilities are provided under different categories. Awards and money rewards are also provided to students who excel in their stuides or extra curricular. Campus employments are present but not satisfactory.

Campus Life

campus is really pretty. infrastucture is pretty good. even though if campus is small in terms of area all buildings are easily accessable. we have two major fests TAKSHAK and SANSKRITI. Various clubs like MADC , MMC , DIVAAT , NSS, IOT , IEEE, IEDC etc are present. Sports facilites like basketball, football, badminton etc are present.

Hostel Facilities

Hostel life is the most memorable part of ones college life. hostels are excellent and the facilities provided are also top notch. Food is amazing and we have a vast variety , quality of food is also good. rooms are 3 or 4 seater with common washrooms. dormitary is also present for 12 people. hostel is alloted on the basis of academic performance and distance from home of the tenant

Hostel Fee: INR 35000 per year

Admission

Since I enrolled during Corona period admission process was a bit tiring due to different allotment days. All procedures are really simple once you get selected. For selection you must clear KEAM exam with rank under 5k.

Faculty

Faculties are highly qualified, have degrees from prestigious institues like IITs,NITs etc. They are usually strict when it comes to academics and also are very understanding. Of course when students explore and take steps in academics by themselves faculties are helping and supportive.

Reflections on the Journey of College Life

Placement Experience:

From seventh semester students will be eligible for campus placements Comapnies visited are Walkaro , Talrop. L & T , Infosys, Viseton etc. Mainly software comapnies are visiting for placement drives. An avaerge of 4 lakhs per annum are provided by the companies and the number of offers made are very less as compared to other colleges. Percentile of students getting placements are very less. Plans after Btech is cracking GATE.

the placement in our college is very much good.there is a placement cell in our college.mainly the placement offers are more for computer science department.the students will be eligible for campus placements from sixth semester itself.the companies will be visiting the college and they will be interviewing us.the college will provide placement training from fourth semester itself.the major companies coming here for placement are ust global,tata elxsi, experion technology ,qburst, bnm solutions,federal bank,pentagon space pvt limited etc.the highest offer made in 2024 is 8 lpa.average percentage of students getting placed in computer science department is around 45 percentage.it is very less in other departments.

From 7th semester onwards students are eligible for campus placement selection. Infosys, technopark are the main companies visited here and give more than 100 opportunities per year..an average package of 40000/year is offered by most of the companies. Computer science Students got more opportunities in campus placement because IT companies are offered more job opportunities. Campus placement is very less for civil engineering studens and mechanical engineering students.. about 20-40 percentage of students here got job opportunities through campus placement from here. My plan after getting the BTech digree is for doing Mtech.

I chose this college because of the high standard education they provide. This college is right now the 4th standing best colleges in kerala. This college also have many acredations. One of the best engineering colleges in Kerala

I applied to Government Engineering College - Thrissur, College of Engineering - Trivandrum, Thangal Kunju Musliar College - Kollam. The reason I didnt get into these colleges is because my rank in KEAM was low. You have to take KEAM exam to get into Engineering colleges in Kerala. MACE FOR ME

I had applied for same courses on Muthoot institute of science and technology, as well as Fisat angamaly etc. but I realised that more of government aided college like MACE would give me more exposure in terms of my professional career than studying in self financing colleges. Also I got both of my allotments in MACE. So I choose not to change my decision. Also the placement records were quite impressive than other colleges. Admission process of my college is quite simple. It takes about 3 - 4 hours including a seminar session. The eligibility is only to clear KEAM examination and should meet following rank requirements.
