Good college with good faculty and student quality and the placement is very good

excellent placement record for last 10 years IT, ECE, CSE gets almost 100% placement for core fields are also praiseworthy moreover it has a good alumni strength and also provides excellent academic support moreover the college also helps in the development of side skills of students

the course curriculum is registered under makaut and so follows the makaut syllabus only the course is almost similar to the central syllabus and diverse however the syllabus is not updated to the latest technologies and so its a very general one the same followed 10 years back

College doe snot provide any internship of its own but provides opportunities for internships in other firms

the college provides excellent placement support they conduct placement training 1 year before the actual placement starts several companies like TCS, Infosys, Wipro, John Deere, Intel, Deloitte, Microsoft, CGI, Mindtree comes for placement. The average package varies from 3 to 4 lakhs

2 events take place every year the EDGE or the technical fest it is the 2nd largest technical fest in Eastern India. Students from all over India come to participate in this event as it attracts huge prize money. The other fest is Aanakhronas which is the cultural fest where famous singers come to perform.

the fee structure is neither too costly nor too low. Each semester fees is about 40k which includes all education-related fees excluding the semester exam fee which is only 1000 rupees per semester Overall it sums up to about 4 lakhs in 4 years and there are scholarship schemes available also

College provides the scholarship to meritorious students under TFW scheme Students need to get a good WBJEE rank to avail that opportunity

Campus life is not too good. There is only a single playing ground and that too is used mainly for car parking. The college has its own cricket and football team and selection trials are held for it. There is a robotics club as well for the interested students and the gender ratio(males to females) is about 10:1

the college does not have a hostel of its own it has a tie-up with paying guest services. The mess fees are about 10000 per month for a 2 room flat and the food is available is package system but one can buy it from other hotels as well on a daily basis The college canteen is good but expensive

The college has a good alumni network placed in MNCs all over the world The seniors are very helpful and helps us a lot regarding our academics

the exam consists of 2 parts Theoretical and Practical Theoretical copies are checked by the makaut board but the practical copies are checked by the college itself Theoretical paper is of 100 marks 70 marks of it is on the main exam day and 30 is from internal marks sent by the college

gave wbjee then central counseling was done by wbjee board and we listed the colleges according to preferences there were 3 stages of counseling and at last got the college according to the rankings we were told to report at the respective colleges for final admission process

the faculty is excellent all teachers have sound knowledge of the subject and are ready to help anytime we face any problem they also motivate us for higher studies and encourage us to pursue our dreams Even we are allowed to call them anytime we face any problem regarding studies
