  • They don't provide placements facilities for our chemistry honours students
  • Canteen is not much good like many items are missing in canteen

Course Curriculum Overview :

I liked this course because I wanted to learn more in chemistry and this college was providing honours in chemistry, i seemed it better for me , so I selected the Concept of DSE in between the syllabus is I think not so good, like it's some like syllabus of PhD Semester wise exams are held in every 6 months and the timing of every exam is different but it's majorly of 3 hours. Some of the exams are difficult but all Major questions come from PYQs

Internships Opportunities :

I didn't participate in any internship till now, so I don't have much information. But there are a lot numbers of internship available in campus and the roll of College placements is good. As it's a college which comes under DU , many companies come toh give jobs to students.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

I payed approx 17k for first year which is quite high. I got a scholarship of 2 thousand in first year because of my financial conditions. In every semester exam they charge approximately 2k rupees. I didn't participate in any campus placement till now.

Campus Life :

The name of annual festivals is TIDE and many society festivals also held in the month of February and March mainly. The accessibility of books and journals is very good like every type of books are available. Projector is available in every room and every type of facilities are available in Lab. All types of major sports are available in campus like badminton, cricket, Football. There's a different place for every type of games like badminton court and ground for cricket. NCC is also available for boys. Many students run WhatsApp groups to help each and every information like about exams, societies, academics, etc. There are some Instagram channels also which help students to know more about his college.

Admission :

The admission process was through the exam of CUET and the cutoff was quite high. The eligibility of this course in DU was to you should have given CUET in PCM with English language. I find out the examination related details though the site of Samarth.gov.in. i avail for OBC reservation and reservation is provided for every category. 2 time exam held in a year in 2 semester and the difficult was bit high in some exams but questions were from PYQs. They should make the application form but easy and small

Faculty :

At a time, the faculty teaches approximately 35 to 40 students at a time some teachers are very good and they teach in a good way, but some of them do not have good teaching skills Everytime I can approach my some teachers but not all , some of them are not available at every time.

Placement Experience:

From last semester, students are eligible for placements. They have to pass through at least 2-3 exams including written examinations and interviews and must have good skills and strengths that made them different from others to achieve good placements.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Though i just choose the course just to study mathematics as i was interested . And then the curriculum was designed in a way which includes like practicals and theory lessons both amd practical application with computer language is there which helps in real world market. And also one can easily contact any teacher and ask their doubts. I would not suggest any teaching method as they are best teachers already but the thing is they must realise that every student is not same so they must give some special attention towards those type of students in class and use the time to fullest. The exams were like most easily8of DU acc to like studies of du.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Exams are easy just get the pyq solved and you will score very good . Though I chosed the course as I see something interesting in this field and wanted to continue in this field itself after graduation. This course opens many opportunities for me afterwards. Improvement I needed most that many students are preparing for competitive exams also alongwith the course they opt but the college hours are much more ?.30 to 5.00 pm isnt it too long and 20 min lunch break it's no enough There is need for grace of time for well preparation and time should be shifted.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum was well prepared but there was an issue of time management. Proper tests couldn't be held before exams due to the syllabus being too bulky to finish on time. The classes could have been a little more interactive if the syllabus was reduced a bit.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I didn't know this course at the time of admission. My parents influenced me to choose this course and no matter how much pressure the Life Sciences students have to go through, this is a great course. With Zoology, Botany and Chemistry as its main domains, it offers a diversity of knowledge that may seem cumbersome over a short period, but actually, it is very beneficial for someone like me who is not interested in pursuing honours in a specific subject. Yes, the file work requires a lot of effort. The diagrams, the theory learning, attending all classes, assignments, reports, etc. It is challenging, so one must keep all these points in mind while opting for this course.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course I choose to pursue was B.Sc in Life Science. I chose to pursue my Bachelor's in Life Science because it was a Program course. The benefit of pursuing a program course over an honours courese is that it gives you more options and opportunities to explore after your graduation is done. You get a chance to find your true calling. My core subjects were Zoology, Botany and Chemistry. Besides that we have to select an extra subject (AECC or SEC) of our choice. My initial AECC were EVS and English in the 1st and 2nd semester respectively. My SEC subjects were Biofertilisers (3rd sem), Sericulture (4th sem), Pharmaceutical Chemistry (5th sem), and Intellectual Property Rights (6th sem). The course design was highly comprehensive. The syllabus was designed inclusively to have all the necessary units which it takes to build a life science graduate who is well versed with a little bit of everything.

Placement Experience:

Placement at my college is good but the employers tend to take students from some specific courses only . Placements for mathematics honours students are not too good . Only about 10 - 15 students are able to grab placement that too not a good package. You become eligible to take placement after your 5th semester exams .

Placement Experience:

Placements are for final year students Big companies like Delloite, KPMG, PWC etc. hire graduates from the campus. There were companies like MedalHunt offering recruitment in the field of sports too. The highest package was offered by Josh Talks i.e., 12 lacs p.a. Furthermore, E.Y. GDS selected students for an internship. I am planning to prepare for government exams after graduation.

Placement Experience:

We have a campus placement cell that handles all the companies coming in for placements and internships. It is active throughout and we have internships coming in all year round. In third year we become eligible for placements. CPC verfies our resume or CV in various steps and then they are sent to companies we are interested in. We have interviews then if we are selected we are informed. The placement ratio and the packages are good. I'm going for masters at IITD through IIT JAM.
