Likes

Faculty members are very friendly and expert in their field.
Clean and hygienic environment everywhere.
Extra curriculum activities are also organised for student's mental as well as physical growth.

Dislikes

Overstrictness is there as we are not allowed to sit in college premises without any teacher even in free period.
Watercoolers are not working most of the time and washrooms are also not that hygienic.
Some of the teachers are very strict they even talk rudely with students

I opted this couse because of my own interest. This field offer great job opportunities for students. Management also sent us for industrial training for experience. Three house tests are conducted in each semester so that students came to know about their mistakes and can improve them before final exams. And in the end of the semester there are final exams which are neither very difficult nor easy.

Class Size: 60Course Fees: INR 30220 per year

Internships Opportunities

Honestly I'm not eligible for this yet so I don't have any experience about this. But my seniors got this opportunity. Our college offers best opportunities to students to work with big companies like Aditya Birla Group and Dakin Air Conditioning with high salary packages i.e. ?3.30 lakh per year and ?5.25 lakhs per year respectively. When I'll got this opportunity I'll give my best.

Placement Experience

You are eligible for placements after 2nd year. College offers great placements and job opportunities with good salary packages to students whoch are good in studies and capable of doing something. Recently four of my seniors got placements. One of them got placement in Aditya Birla Group with ?3.30 lakh per year package and rest three got in Dakin Air Conditioning with ?5.25 lakh per year package. After drgree I will apply for government exams and will continue btech as well.

Fees and Financial Aid

Money sent on this whole course is about ?96,800 except hostel and mess. Scholarship schemes are also there for middle class students so they can also gain quality education. Scholarship programmes for toppers are also there. College management also organise many extra curriculum activities for students to enhance there skills like science fair, debates, group discussions, sports day and many more.

Campus Life

Many extra curriculum activities are there. Sports day was there, where we had a lot of fun with our friends and teachers. Science fair was there in october and we gain alot of knowledge. Many more activities are there like debate competitions and group discussions etc.

Admission

This is mainly a three year diploma course after 10th or 12th from any board but we can also take admission directly in 2nd year. Admission criteria is very simple when online registration is open we have to come college with all necessary documents teachers will fill your registration form with the help of that documents. College timings are from 9am to 5pm.

Faculty

Faculty members are qualified and well educated in their respective fields. Teachers are friendly with us. They explain every topic deeply in easy and understandable way with examples for our betterment. They even solve problems individually as some students are not comfortable in asking doubts openly in class.

supportive campus environment with the comfortable in the classess
faculty most faculty members are very much supportive and they guide the students in the right way only
events are there in the campus provided by the campus.

limited practical exposure is provided by the campus and also there should be more hand on international events
infrastructure is not that good , as they were should on the online it is dii
Placement cell provides opportunities but the stronger industry connections.

placements at my college are very very good, as everybody gets the chance to sit for the placements at the same level. we get the placement oportunities at the 6th semster also. in my brancg it is very good

A Vibrant Campus with good learning and great opportunities

Likes

good infrastructure , large libraries and practical labs
helpful and large opportunities in campus

Dislikes

class size can be large , it helps every child to interact
academic work is quite high , the schedule may feel hectic especially during examination

The curriculum is relevant and covers core cse subjects like programing DSA and DBMS . it provides good fundamental for placements and further studies , more practical projects and industry based teaching would improve it .

I like the most about the college the placement criteria and the way built your confidence
Also the hostel is very good and provide food 4 times
The campus explorer is also very nice according to me

Faculty is not soo well had a lit bit inconvenience
Hostel mess food is not good at some time
Placement is decent and average as like other collage

I appreciate the well maintained campus and infrastructure the cleaniness in the collage is good
My engagement with collage is good I join various types of activity in the collage

Dislikes

There is no ac in the class and the class windows are not that good
But there is one problem which is that there is no many options for girls in games like sports

Currently my course at cgc landran does not have any types of placement in my course but however the collage focuses on enhancing development of students employability by providing interships , skills development and workshops to enhance there knowledge

Course Curriculum Overview:

I’d rate the curriculum like 7/10 in terms of relevance and comprehensiveness — it covers all the major CSE subjects like DSA, OS, DBMS, CN, AI, ML, Cloud, Cybersecurity basics, etc., and honestly that was one of the reasons I chose this course because at least the core subjects are solid even if PTU keeps some old-school stuff in the syllabus. The curriculum does prepare you for real-world stuff, but only to a point — like, if you focus on coding labs and projects you’ll be fine for internships, but if you depend only on classroom theory then it won’t help much because industry wants hands-on skills. For higher studies also it’s okay because theory depth in subjects like OS and DBMS is decent enough. But yeah, improvements are definitely needed — some subjects feel outdated, teachers should use more practical examples, and we need more real projects instead of copy-paste lab manuals; also some faculty teach directly from slides which gets boring fast. Exams come twice per semester (sessionals) plus the final end-sem around December/May; they’re mostly easy if you write long answers, but tricky if you rely only on understanding because PTU likes theory-heavy questions. Overall, the system works, but it could be way more practical and industry-focused.

Cmc - a feeling in itself

Likes

Academics are very good along with proper clinical teaching lectures and simulation based teaching. Patient load is good. All the clinicals skills required at mbbs level are taught properly.
There are various extra-curricular activities which take place in college. Many cultural events are organized by college and student bodies every month which gives an holistic development experience
Sports facilities are also there which are very good.

Dislikes

Infrastructure is very old and needs repair
Many faculty members are leaving leading to less good professors in the college
Patient load is decreasing day by day resulting in less clinical exposure

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum followed in our college is CBME based curriculum. Our college was one such college which conrributed tremendously in developing this type of curriculum. It trains you in all clinical skills and provide you with the best doctor skills. Also many soft skills training session our held which helps in developing and training ourselves as good doctor. All the skills are taught on models and patients.clinical training is very good. However , patient load is decreasing which restricts oursleves in seeing variety of patients

A honest college review

Likes

College faculty are very solid and remarkable and some teachers also support the other students in difficult situation like financially
Paramedical course faculty sometimes give random party for students to their achivement

Dislikes

Campus is some sort of small and Students ground is short.
Sports ground is short if two different teams want to play they can't play like that.teams

Placement Experience:

The college provides good opportunities to those who are good at academics and for those who are not good at academics chances for them to placement are very low. During the past year, there were very good companies shown in my college for my seniors, some were very renowned companies and the highest package was something 650000.

The college is of good reputation and is a police academy under the Guru Nanak Dev University, Amritsar. The college provides many police administration long term and short term courses and two professional courses namely, M.A and M.Phil. I applied to IGDTUW , VIT vellore and other colleges i got into both in VIT i got CS but it was too far away plus the placement percentage there is comparatively low and IGDTUW i didn't have mg prefered branch. i got selected to VIT vellore , but as i belong to punjab, and the level of VIT and TIET is the same, i preffered TIET i could even get a lower branch at NITJ (95%ile), but i did not want to compromise on my branch. admission process - you fill up an online form where you fill hostel preferances (like branch and college preferances in JoSAA) from thr options of hostels available for you (J, H, FRF and FRG for boys, I G E and PG for girls). you come here acc to time slot given to you acc to your percentile or boards percentage you are called into the main audi you get alloted a hostel there you fill up some forms, pay the mess fee, hostel fee and course fee in there go to hostel get your room keys and mess card issued then setup your room...Read More

I applied for VIT and SRM but didn't take admission due to poor quality of placements and peer group. I am from the General Outside Punjab quota.
