Likes

First of all the course fees I very nominal as compared to other private colleges in the India.
The teacher of this college mainy my branch ( EE) are having good educational qualification do and the lab classes are also well quipped
The placement record of the college is good I electrical branch almost people got placed not in higher packages

Dislikes

The college area is too small. Ground of this college is also too small. The infrastructure is also not maintained too much.

Course Curriculum Overview

The course curriculum of this college is decent not very good. As it is affiliated with MAKAUT college the curriculum is followed by Makaut. It is not very practical oriented and it is more of theoretical knowledge the curriculum is also very old. Subjects which are not relevant nowadays are also included which is of no use. It Should include new subjects which are relevant nowadays

Class Size: 160Course Fees: INR 484000 per year

Placement Experience

The student from 7th semester are eligible to seat for the placement. Company starts to come from mid of October. Last year due to recession very less company visited the campus main company which visited were TCS, WIPRO, ACCENTURE, HAVELLS, etc. Average offer made was around ?300000

Fees and Financial Aid

Btech course fees when I got my addmission in 2021 was ?484000 for 4 years. Which very nominal as compared to other private colleges. There is fees hike of 40-50K per year but It is not applied for people who has joined earlier. Exam fees is not included in the total fees it is separately been taken each semester. Tution fees and other fees are included in the total amount mentioned earlier. Scholarship facilities is are not available from college itself. There is no stipend facility in the college

Campus Life

The campus life is not to good in this college as it has very less space. Sports and extra curriculum activities are also very less in this college. Fest of the college is good. There are good clubs which organise fests. Social club ( Ankakrons) is a very good social club

Admission

Admission taken in this college is in two ways either giving Jee mains/ WBJEE or direct admission. Most of the seats are being filled by the WBJEE exam. The admission process is pretty smooth in this college, we have to take the counselling papers and the basic formalities. There is no reservation benefit in this college. There are no such exams which college takes. It takes admission through WBJEE and Jee mains

Faculty

The faculty of the college is decent in my branch which is Electrical engineering. The student to teacher ratio is approximately 1 teacher for 25 student. The most of the faculty are well qualified. For example the HOD of our department is Btech from NIT durgapur and Mtech from Jadavpur University. Most of the teacher are mtech graduatres and PhD

The everyday journey

Likes

I liked the campus . Their people and faculties are too great , they are also helpfull
The other thing i liked here is the play ground where students play with full of their energy and many game events are organised ocationally
The other thing i liked is the library where everyone use to study silently with poking others

Dislikes

Bad benches , like benches are too small to be fitted in our class I
In our department ac doesn’t work properly

Nothing specific just the campus attracted me Curriculum is preparing me for the real world approach and its doing good enough the academic pursuits is good Teachers should teach in a good way so that every student should understand Frequently the timing of exam is 3 hrs but sometimes it takes 1 hrs

Likes

I like my class infustructure and lifts for men and woman
I like our faculties who are worried about our future
I like my college campus with ground and park

I dislike my colleges management system process
I dislike my colleges Transport facilities
I dislike some members whose behavior is rude

I rate my college course curriculum is so good see them i will take admission in this college and the faculties teaching methods are good exam time will fix by exam board and they always think about students comfort.

Likes

The infrastructure of the college is good.I would consider the college as very clean.
The campus life is pretty good but there are strict instructions to freshers to not roam in the campus.

Dislikes

I disliked the condition of the bathroom and the corridor on the first day.
My hostel room was very filthy.The workers charges ₹100 for cleaning it

Placement Experience:

From 4th year students become eligible for placements.Google, Microsoft,Gold Man Sacks, Apple were some of the companies that visited NIT Durgapur For placement regard.The highest package was 80lpa and the average package was 13 lpa.Total of 83% students got placed.The placement is quite good.

Its our lovely college TIU

Likes

The faculty are well taught and the campus is very beautiful . The buildings are like newly bulid . and the campus is very clean.
In our branch the boys and girls ratio is almost 16:11.
The senior behave like a friend and they help us a lot and they also very supportive.

Dislikes

The college campus is too small compare to other colleges.
The college classes are not regularly held and the attendance system is not very good.
The classes are very boing and sometime it feels like aa school and the labs are not held timely.

Placement Experience:

our college average package is 600000 per Anum and highest package is 1800000 per Anum according to recent data. and 80% of student got placed . And wipro , windows, tcs , siemens , tata like companies come to our college for placement. Core students are also got placed but many of them goes for hihger studies.

Likes

One of the best things about my college is all the classrooms and labs are fully air conditioned. The classrooms, labs and even the toilets are cleaned regularly, which really helps to create a comfortable learning environment.
All the clubs of the college remain active all the time no matter whether it's technical clubs or fest related clubs like fun events domain, etc.
The most important thing is that the college is entirely ragging -free. College also maintains a healthy girls to boys ratio.

Dislikes

The classrooms are quite compact compared to the number of students in each class . At times it feels overcrowded and a bit uncomfortable during lectures.
Some of the faculty members are relatively inexperienced. It often feels like they don't have full command over the subject they're teaching, which can affect the overall understanding of important concepts.
Another issue I've noticed is the irregularity in certain subject classes. Not all subjects are taught consistently every semester , and there are high chances of some classes getting missed or not scheduled properly.

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible to sit for placements form 7 th semester that is from the beginning of final year. Usually the service based companies come here with cgpa criteria and offer jobs to students.

Likes

They provide you with various oppertunities like exposure visits, seminar , worshops, etc.

Labs are not well maintained the machines are very slow

In case of my couse everything is coverd but it would have been much better of they focus on practicals more rather than theory. If they make us aware of all the new technologies that are used in the industry.

My experience about techno

Likes

Ragging free campus. Strict action are taken against those who found guilty.
Classrooms are well equipped and are spacious.
There are many fun events that happen in the college

Dislikes

The campus area is too small. The library is not good
The societies are fully controlled by students so huge partiality goes on.
Some of the teachers are mean and are not good.

Placement Experience:

From the 3rd year onwards , students become eligible for internships and stepping in 4th yr , students get eligible for campus placement. Techno provides decent campus placements according to your marks. Good marks also with skills get you better salary. Minimum 7.5 cgpa is mandatory to have you sit for campus placements. The lowest package is 3.4 LPA and highest vary but students also get 14LPA easily. Wipro, tcs ,cap ,gemini, amazon , ibm etc.

Likes

Experienced Faculty-students often appreciate a good blend of practical and theoretical knowledge.Faculty members in some department are often known for thier excelence knowledge and experience
Excelent Campus-techno india university has a large campus with excelent facilities such as libraries,labs,seminar halls etc. Some students finds this facilitries useful
Funs and Events-techno india university provides a vibrant campus life with events that span a wide range of interests

Dislikes

Time Management-the one thing that I disliked was their time management.They dont provide a proper shedule for exams,routines etc
Teaching Methods-some students feels that cirtain teaching methods(like a focus on lecture without without interactive learning or industry exposure) must be improved
Placement-techno india university does prepares thier students for placement they only give them the opportunity

Placement Experience:

Elegibility for placement-Generally students become elligible for campus placement in their 7th semester or 8th semester and there might be some prerequisties such as minimum CGPA must be 6-7 with no bachlogs Internship and pre-placement offers-many companies offer internships during the 6th semester or 7th semester and successful interns may receive pre-placement offers if their performance is good. Companies that visits campus: TCS Accenture Cognizent Infosys Wipro Capgemini Deloite Byjus Tech Mahindra Placement Percentage-On average 80%-90% of students may secure jobs through campus placements.However this numbers could vary across different departments and specialization Highest and average package-The highest salary offered at Techno India University was 24 LPA and the average salary was 4-5 LPA. Plans after getting the degree: My plans depends on placement.If I get a job of around 15 LPA then I will not do master degree and if I get job of around 4-5 LPA then I will do master for further great opportunities

No strict college there is not compulsory to wear college uniform

The college campus is very big and beautiful.
The cultural fests and annual fest is also great.
The ganga ghat is really close from the college.

Dislikes

The faculty is bullshit .some profs are ok,but some are horrible.
The college hostels accommodation is really bad
The ratio of girls to boys is very poor.

Placement Experience:

The campus placement is okay and companies like google, Microsoft, Capgemini ,Tata,Mahindra also comes during placement.The off campus placement record is also fantastic.The were scenarios in the past years where few students got packages like 50-70 lpa.
