Brief review as an ex student of Charuchandra college

My aim was to join the course of chartered accountant from ICAI which is a post graduate course and taking bcom hons from CU was a good decision as after completing my bcom graduation I got exempted from my CA foundation and also gained good knowledge As per real world application it's not much as the course lacks in self development in verbal conversation, leadership, etc which is a good requirements in these days job interviews A lot improvement can be made because this course is mostly theory oriented and lacks a lot of real life applications.... Ability of conversation on an unknown topic, skills to lead a team, tackling problems on real life basis, diversification of language and computer skills would be a great change and a good opportunity for the students As this is a completely theory oriented course so all the time we had to sit and study for written exams to score marks and for that the time was quiet less only 3 - 4 months before an exam, having 6 semesters and it's hard

As it is a government college so tution fees should not be very although the fees was very less and if quality of education is increased that can be a reason for hikes in fees Complete cost will be around 65k to 70k maximum of a course of 3 years Some common government financial aids can be availed on basis of caste and a certified graduation degree will be received from Calcutta University

Many events are organised including sports and welcome events for each newcomers group but no such specific names are there. Library was moderately populated not all the books were available to our need some books were worn out and very old , all the books were not properly updated.... Over all I can give a 3 out of 6 as a rating. Wodden seats , some were broken typical government college ni such improvement in technologies in classroom worn out black board and chalk to write on Sports is a good ground of our college good players can get a chance to play at state level or district level No such impact of social infulencers Or content creators all are same students, no such benifit is provided for them

As such no eligibility of course ull be selected on merit basis on class 12 results. Respected website for every college is present in internet just search the college name No such reservation available 6 semester each semester has different set of books to study and give exams period before each exam is 4 months approax No such improvement suggested

Faculty to student ratio was high the although the whole room was never full and the back side always were empty I often used to miss my college due to internship but as per my experience the faculty were quiet interactive and helpful as I got full support in my project works and viva The faculties had good knowledge and were quiet loud and expressive in the class and also strict which is a good sign
