- College fests are really good, variety of fests including tech and cultural. Famous artists perform in our fest anakhronos
- There is a football ground in our college, we sometimes play there in free time

- College management is very careless, they just want fees and won't listen to student problems.
Course Curriculum Overview
Our course is designed by tcs and in some aspects I would say it really is better but still not much different from the old Makaut syllabus. One thing I wanted was that there should be more project based subjects in cs from 1st year, not just theory
Placement Experience
In recent time, there is decline because of the market, but still service based companies are visiting like cognizant, wipro, tcs. In past years good startups came here and offer good packages greater than 8 lpa.
Fees and Financial Aid
College fees are average not very high, like in other states, fees are way too much in private colleges, in our college it is around 5.5 lakhs. Also west Bengal student credit card scheme and Vivekananda scholarship can help economic weaker sections
Campus Life
I mean our campus is not that big still we have a football ground and good canteens like biryani canteen and two buildings for classes. We have a auditorium which can have around 200-300 people, overall a decent college.
Admission
In West Bengal joint entrance exam, I got 15k rank in general and i got a seat here in counselling in csbs branch in second round, decent college . You can opt for core cse branch if you get a more good rank like 7-8k.
Faculty
I mean some of our cse faculty are really experienced and qualified, but some are still not able to teach effectively. Lab assistants don't have enough knowledge and we have to study entirely on our own and do assignments
