Course Curriculum Overview

4

The reason I chose my course was the popularity it gained at that time (during admissions) , a sudden wave of practical learning in the name of vocational education came into existence and therefore I applied for it. Since the vocational education was all about practical learning and gaining insights related to marketing and its aspects, it was good to try it. The curriculum could have been much better, they could have included some other detailed topics which somehow have been missed it . As per the traditional norms, we also had 2 semesters per year and the examinations were easy, a 2 day of preparation before the exam sometimes did wonders.

Internships Opportunities

4

Our placement cell ; ASPIRE helps students to provide many internship opportunities in various domains. Many reputed companies like magicpin, NDTV, Urban Talkies, AAP, etc hires our students as interns.

Placement Experience

4

The final year students can apply and sit for the placement procedures. Majorly, the sales and marketing-related placements dominate over other domains. So make sure if you are someone who is looking to sit for other domains other than sales and marketing, I would suggest you to stop completely rely on the on campus placements, instead start looking for more better opportunities off campus or online; LinkedIn, glassdoor Or cold mailings.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions

I do not have an idea about the tuition fee. And yes, my college does provide financial assistance to the students who have taken student loans to encourage their education. Overall, the fee structure is quite affordable, it charged 10k per year for my course, an amount in which a private institution kid's conveyance expenses could have been paid only.

Campus Life

4

The college societies indeed play a crucial role in shaping one's perosnality and individuality . The societies in my college are quite active and involving. Majority of the societies provide you with some really good opportunities to explore beyond your academics and to make good connections. However there are some societies who does not serve the same purpose, it will be you who would figure it out the better option.

Admission

The admission process was quite smooth as the management was operating very smoothly at that time. The application forms and dates are easily available on the du's official website. I still remember the day I got my application approved by my college authorities in the 3rd cut off. It was all done within a day ; fee submission and approval

Faculty

4.5

The faculty of my course is quite good. Teachers are well qualified and know the proper and effective methods to teach and make us for exam ready. Moreover, my department's faculty is quite helpful and cooperative as well .
