Course Curriculum Overview

The Course Curriculum is well designed in accordance with GATE and it definitely prepares you for real world and industry level applications. Some improvement can be made in the areas of laboratory work.

Internships Opportunities

Internship opportunities are more for circuital branches rather than the core ones. But core people find their interns mostly in research areas. However you can get a paid intern in reputed organization through off-campus also

Placement Experience

The placements are quite decent in our college. Obviously not good for those who enjoy their complete 4 years. If you study well and maintain a good cg, most probably you will land up in 10lpa+ on avgerage. On higher part it can go upto crores.

Fees and Financial Aid

I feel like course fee is completely worth it. It may cost around 8-10 lpa in general case but if you have family income less than 5lpa than it will fetch you nearly half of it. Some alumini as well government scholarships are also provided giving you financial assistance

Campus Life

My overall experience in this college till now is wonderful. We have numerous clubs here basically one for each kind of hobby you name of. Student culture in our college is the best thing you can experience so far.

Hostel Facilities

Hostels are quite decent. Rooms are less spacious for boys but they are wonderful in case of girls since they have just got their new hostel. All the basic amenities can be found in our hostels and food is also good (exception exist for MBH)

Hostel Fee: INR 50000 per year

Admission

You all need to clear JEE-MAINS examination to get into this college and admit yourself in this course. The cutoff goes around 50k for general students. After that JOSSA counseling and yes you can be part of NITJ then

Old Faculties here are extremely good .They just teach you in such a way that you dwell deep interest in the course that you are being taught currently. Everything is good and faculties are always approachable whenever needed, it just depends upon students whether they want their help or not

The curriculum changes as per the need of the industry norms so that student can attain knowledge about the basics as well as the niche technologies.This is the aspect to choose the course and the lab work and continuous competitions help us with the industry trends. The management could be improved. The frequency of exams help us learn well and difficulty is between easy to medium.

Placement Experience:

Only skilled or quality are able to get placed. Usually onwards 6th or 7 th semester, students can be eligible depending on the performances. I can do a job if I like to work there. If not, I will do more internships to get hands on experience.

Honest is the best Policy

Placement Experience:

Placements are really great of our college as its avg pakage is of 11 lac from computer related branches. Girls are eligible in second year for inters and for boys its generally from 3rd year because of the reservations.

The course curriculum is interactive and have added various new thing like in the engineering graphics subject they have added the software like autocad instead of traditional drawings... Chandigarh University: Is it worth the investment?

Placement Experience:

The student become eligible for campus placements from 5th semester. The companies visited per year are approximately 200. They claim 100% placements but in reality they divide students into placement and non- placement batches called tpp and ntpp. If you slip up even once, you will be debarred from the tpp group. The highest package is 53 LPA. The average package is 4.5 LPA. Companies like JP Morgan, TCS, Capgemini, PlaySimple, Cognizant, Nokia, Philips, Morgan Stanley, PWC, KPMG, EPAM, Watchguard, High radius, OYO, Coding Ninjas, Samsung, etc have already came. More companies are yet to come. Since the student intake is too much, placements are really hard to get since there is too much competition. In the end, people get hired in mass recruitment companies and get minimum pay of 3-4 lpa. My plans are apply for off-campus jobs and start working in corporate after the degree. If I don't get a job, I haven't decided what I will do next.

Placement Experience:

Placements are good but I am more looking towards offcampus placements. I will do internships from my second year and in first year I'll make the base. I contacted to some of the seniors they said doing hardwork will definitely lead to a good package.

Placement Experience:

After 4 semester students are eligible for sitting in placements. There are alot of company visiting and alot of them take 2-3 with really good package and some handful with good enough packages of nearly10 lpa and the highest package was i think of in last month was of around 60 lpa . My plans after getting a degree is too work my way through companies to a FAANG Companies

Atharv ki dastan nit ki kahani

I got 28102 rank in jee mains and 24576 rank in jee advanced My primary goal was to get into any iit but I can't get due to my rank if I would have got any iit o would have chosen it over In josaa counselling I got iiit bhopal cse which was quite a good option because bhopal is not so distant from home and also has good placement but it has many problems like no permanent campus and hostels etc and very high fees which I can't afford So in next round I got nit jalandhar ice over it because it is a cirtcutal branch enough options in tech and core both morover it comes with a nit tag and less fees and I want clg in north...Read More
