Unskilled lab staff and unavailability of reagents and chemicals in the laboratory

Course Curriculum Overview

Being a applied sciences college, the availablity of technological courses and my interest in it influenced my decision. Proper management of reagents and chemicals in the lab for betterment of students performing practicals.

Class Size: 59Course Fees: INR 13000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

Fee structure is affordable i guess, but due to unavailability of hostel in the college due to certain unavoidable reasons, it becomes difficult to spend 7000/- min. For accomodation purpose. Management is taking appropriate measures now.

Campus Life

There are annually cultural fests in every college of delhi University and even inter-college students and enjoy traveling some miles. Regular clubs and events are made run enhancing students creative abilities.

Admission

The selection process in delhi University has now become very easy and less competitive for students due to CUET-UG and PG. The programme fee remains the same and no admission criteria based upon class 12 percentage and all that, sports quota still there.

Faculty

Faculty to student ratio is aroung 1:12. Teachers are given their students as their mentees during the initial stage of session of newly admitted students. They have lot of potential to teach in an extraordinary and effective manner.

Placement Experience:

placements cells were little challenging . there were really less near to zero placement were there .so thats a problem you have to go for higher studies to get a good job and financial stability mostly students do this only.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum consists of relatable topics and interesting ones as well this is what quite influenced me to take this course. We have labs which help us learn how to prepare various organic compounds which are used in many day to day products . The course also has a 4th year research program. There should be more equipments in lab for the research. The frequency is good for exams being conducted and there level is also quite good

My course is very nice and mostly acceptable in big multinational companies and firms. The whole world is moving towards AI and computers. So jobs in this field are high. And I also had a good interest in computers. That's why I chose this course.

Placement is not that great as I hear it's around 400000 to 500000 annum after 3 years of graduation companies like wipro TCL etc. highest package as I know is 22lpa in 2023 75% students places I will pursue further studies after graduation

from probably the 3rd year students are eligible for campus recruitments, infotech i think came to our college as far as my knowledge goes, the avg package that im aware of is 3-4.5LPA, which is decent in terms of placement after bachelors, my plans although are to pursue higher education since the package mentioned is not good in my eyes
