Reviews of my journey in shivaji college of delhi University

I have choosen the geography honours course because there is a quite good job opportunity in the private as well in government sector. The faculty of the geography honours course in my college is best i can say proudly they have a good amount of experience and the teachers provide internship opportunities for us through their link. Sectors from where the geography honours students can internships and get job are Gis remote sensing mapping, urban planning, rural planning, disaster management department,and many more areas...

Internship opportunities are not that much active in my college it was depends on your own skills how you avail this opportunity its a government college so here you cannot expect that much placement and internship facilities

There is placement facility but not for the particular course placement cell is active in the college and bring placement but in different fields of corporate sector. I have planned for the gis remote sensing job after my graduation i have opt a extra course of gis remote sensing and around 15000 to 30000 monthly salary is average for a gis remote sensing job

The fees varies from college to college and course to course in delhi University for example the fees of geography honours course in my college is 21000 in first year and 17000 in second year and 18000 something in last year But in kirorimal college it's around 10000 or 15000 between this only The scholarship is available for pwb and economic weaker sections they get fees succession also but the fees is under budget is we see the face value of course as well of college university

Overall experience of my college campus is quite good there are lot of clubs and societies in the college i was mainly involved in nss which is a government aid society national service scheme and in shutterbugs the photographic society of our college and cfpi (centre for promotion of inclusivity) and these society are active in their feild infrastructure I can say is not good in old building it's too poor but the new building have quite good infrastructure.

In year 2021 the admission was on the basis of your class 12 percentage i was get admission through the percentage basis and i got 93 percent and got the admission in the shivaji college but from 2022 the admission is getting through cuet entrance and cutt off varies from year to year

The faculty is good all professors are having good knowledge infact many of professors are graduated from shivaji college itself and now working as a professor in college. All faculty members are good in their subject matter and have a good quality of teaching and senior most professors are also in the department to guide the new professors
