Likes

Campus life is good. Social life is good.
Infrastructure is good, new jijabai block, especially.
Too many societies for different fields, art etc.

Dislikes

No music room in college. Also no music teacher is there.
No proper sports equipments for students.
Campus is too small. It is not too large.

Course is good for students who understand and like economics and mathematics. There is applications of economics in mathematics and business. Number of students in one class is 70 approx. Faculty is good. Exams not so difficult.

Annual festival of shivaji college is 'Vibrations'. Campus life is good. Fest is awesome in shivaji college. Crowd is better than many off campus college. Many societies are there in college for extra curricular. Big sports ground 'Shivaji Complex'.

Admission through CUET examination. Subjects which you have studied in 12th shall be taken in cuet examination. General test is compulsory. Mathematics is required. English. Combination of best 3 is taken.

Placement Experience:

Placement of my college is not soo good but not soo bad . It's moderate placement . Last year highest package is 300000 per annum and lowest package is 100000 per annum. Many of companies visited in college placement.

Our college offers a good mix of theory and real-life application, making it a good choice for anyone genuinely curious about how the human mind works. It also balances academics with hands-on experiences—students don’t just read about psychology in theory, they actually get to practice it through labs, experiments, internships, and field visits. Regular workshops, seminars, and presentations keep the learning process interactive and help build communication and analytical skills that are useful both inside and outside the classroom. Recently a resilience workshop was held by an alumni of MSCW, where we got deeper insights about how resilience can be built, how coping works and how some coping techniques can be bad for u.

An honest guide to Mata Sundri College

Placement Experience:

My course does not allow direct placements right after graduation since a lot of students tend to pursue higher education, but the college does have a placement cell that brings in different opportunities like internships and placements. The average package is probably about 2.5 LPA with companies like Bajaj allianz but since it is an off campus college, this isn't bad either

Since I have already mentioned in previous section that I want the deepest knowledge of political science and the only way, one can gain that is by doing masters. Admission are through UG CUET and a score of 600-620 our of 800 is usually the cut-off for Shivaji College, Delhi. Not so good Not so bad

I already know about CUET because in my school some teachers came to our school to guide us about CUET .So after my 12th i started preparing for CUET as I already fill the form before my boards on CUET SAMARTH and the application fee was around 1500 for 7 subjects and it differ how many subject u have chosen then after my boards CUET exam date has been came and admit card also a.Then I gave my exams but the exam centre were not so good they were like so far and the area around the centre was not that great.After that I fill the form for DU admission on CSAS portal and it costed around 250 for SC and I gues for general it was about 500.Then CSAS portal has three application phases 1st is for the normal application form,2nd phase is for the reservation and 3rd is for the preference filling and then u wait for the result.And in 1st round I got PGDAV but I upgraded and got Shivaji college which is near to my home and I got botany hons in that....Read More
