Likes

Firstly it is a government college. The fees structure is moderate for all the kinds of students and also they also provide fees concession for the students who are having low financial status.
The college environment is good. The teacher who are teaching in this college ate very highly qualified and they provide personal guidance to the student who are not good enough in their studies
The college has a very good Library. It also has excess for all the students without any extra fees. The college also have seperate common rooms for boys and girls . They also has its own private gym and it accessible for all the student.

Dislikes

The campus is really very small which sometimes create problems and inconvenience.
All though there are some teachers who are very harsh and rude towards student unnecessarily.
In case of funds and appraisal the office system goes really slow.

As far to the knowledge this college is very famous for its academic which influenced me to choose this college and take admission in. The fees structure is also very moderate according to my financial condition.

Fees and Financial Aid

The all over cost of education in this college during by education was about Rs.15000 only. This college also provide Swami Vivekananda Scholarship with the stipend of 12000 rupees. They also provide some fees concession to the weaker section students.

Campus Life

The college conduct freshers and farewell programme for the students. Every year fest are also organised in our college. Basant Utsav is the key attraction events of this college which is organised during the time of Holi. Every year Annual Sports Day is also celebrated.

Admission

The University Exam is placed twice a year. Also Internal Examination is conducted by college twice a year. The paper is set by the college professor which is very hard to attempt and the teachers are also very strict during the examination.

Faculty

The professor are very highly qualified and well experienced. They provide guidance in every possible manner and also give valuable instructions during assignments and internal exams. However there are some teachers and professors who are very strict towards the discipline of the institution.

The best college for professional course students

Placement Experience:

Various companies come to this college for on campus placement Average package= 1000000 Highest package=2200000 Various multi national company and other big and small companies visit this college for on campus placement. Most of the students also get placement opportunities whether large or small package The opportunity is given to all degree whether it be bcom or bcom hons . Any student who does not get placed can easily use the degree to get a high paying off campus placements and to go to any good college or stay in this college for their post graduation.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is backdated and should be improvised as it doesn't give any exposure of present industry knowledge. The frequency of exams is that exams are held after 6 months on semester basis and are easy to pass and majority of the students pass this semester easily.

Decent government college which needs to improve.

Quite an Average Government College which lacks in infrastructure, faculty, and placements.

Course Curriculum Overview:

As I mentioned, the course curriculum is outdated and no new industry knowledge is being taught. Projects and assignments are also bookish and are just for sake. Teaching methods by teachers are also bookish and backward. The frequency of exams are after every 6 months and are pretty manageable and easy.

City College of Commerce and Business Administration: A Heritage Institution with room for growth in placements

Placement Experience:

By the end of 6th semester students are placed in some of the companies which visits the campus Companies like ICICI bank , axis bank does placement in the college. Average package is around 250000 per anum and highest is around 1200000 per anum. 70-75 % students get placed every year roughly. I will be a marketing manager after completing my degree.

SAJC - From The Eye of a Student.

There was only 3 better colleges I couldn't apply to. They were St.Xaviers Kolkata, Goenka and Maulana Azad. Seth Anandram Jaipuria College is among the top 5 colleges and is well known. It is also the best college in North Kolkata, some might not agree to me though. The deciding factors for me were very low fees, decent quality teachers, and the most important, quality of crowd and reputation of the college.
