I chose Thapar University over other colleges due to its strong academic reputation and practical focused curriculum and industry oriented approach in computer engineering. It provides strong internships and project opportunities . It had modern kabs and high tech classrooms and well equipped infrastructure with extra curriculur activities and fests every year. I applied in Jaypee Noida and got admission in JIIT sector 128 in IT Branch . I have studied there for 15 days but after then I switched to Thapar because in JIIT 128 , you have to travel each and every day from sector 62 to sector 128 as they only have hostels in there sector 62 campus . Also the sector 128 campus is too small it feels like you are in school . There is a strict compulsion of uniform in JIIT which completely gives you school vibes and you don't feel as if you are in college . It is more of a school . The mess and canteen of JIIT 128 is not good. They only have samosa , pasta and one two more food item . I chose Thapar over JIIT because of all these chaotic and terrible experience...Read More
