As this college was nearest to my home . It is. Also one the most popular college in Punjab. It is most affordable college . I didn't applied to any other college . The admission here was from 2 rounds of open counseling and I got admission in 2 nd round. The cutoff for my course was about 85%. There was no such exam as entrance exam . I applied in pcte college ludhiana and gndec ludhiana i got a confirmed admission in btech in computer science engineering specialized in AI and ML at pcte college ludhiana but i wanted to take admission in gndec as it is more reputed than pcte and also a very old and valued college and i first got admission in btech in electrical engineering in gndec ludhiana i took on this opportunity then changed my branch to btech in Electronics and Communication Engineering. The admission process is that you first have to wait for ptu to start online counselling then you can register in the counseling for 2000 rupees and if not selected in every round of ptu counseling there is a last chance at gndec when it organizes a direct counseling session distributing seats merit wise for btech in electrical u must have at least 65-70% in 12th boards exams then if you are offered a branch change then u can by giving 1000 rupees. My admission went smoothly but keep in mind u have to give 70000 rupees at direct counselling or just before admission if u are not availing any type of fee waiver...Read More
