Likes

Auditorium of our college is one the best I have seen till now.
Teachers are very friendly and this creates a good arena for students to embrace themselves.
Cultural diversity is also seen which helps to co operate amongst each other and helps in learning new about different cultures.

Dislikes

Canteen area of the College is too messy and I also don't like the food which is being served.
Ground is also too small comparatively to other colleges of Delhi University

Course Curriculum Overview

I have English+Political Science and I am very deeply interested in political science assignment this provides insight of present, past and future which will help ourselves to engage with society and through this subject I want to learn new initiatives to improve society for its betterment

Class Size: 54Course Fees: INR 10580 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

Yes, the per year fees of college is approx 10000 and it is a mere fees that every children can afford for such a big university.Our college also provide yearly scholarship to backward classes students to help them economically. So this means my three year course will be of 30000 including all tution fees and everything.

Campus Life

College is all about societies and it helps students to grow in other fields.Dance society 'Dhanak' is beautifully embracing the talent of students.And student union also held annual fest Aadab for the first time this year which brings more enthusiasm in our life .

Admission

So earlier the admission process is on the basis of 12 th percentile but from 2022 cuet ug is being conducted. So I have appeared for cuet which is not that much difficult if you have focused in your 12 th class so basically I appeard for one language test , general test and political science.

Faculty

All the professor are mostly PhD holders and assistant professor are pursuing PhD from very good University. Also they are highly helpful and supportive to students . Students don't feel hesitation to ask any doubts as they help to embrace our inner talent and motivate children.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is something that can have improvements. For example I am studying C++ in my computer minor class which is becoming less and less relavent as compared to a lamguage like python. Alot of job prospects require students to know a language like R so I feel things like that should be taught so that the course cam make a student more real world ready.

DESHBANDHU COLLEGE BEST CHAPTER OF MY LIFE SO FAR

Course Curriculum Overview:

My course requires a lot of analytical and logical thinking. The scope is quite wide in my course without having any professional degree too like research, analytics, finance manager etc. This course gives opportunity to gain applied skills and as we are dealing with quantitaive aspects our statistics also gets better with time. Few improvements which i would like suggest are that their should more practical and real life knowledge, currently it is very theoritically heavy. Teaching online softwares must be compulsoury so that we remain updated with technology.

Placement Experience:

Placements of my college are pretty good. The placement cell of my college is pretty active and facilitataes the placement process. Companies like Deloitte, EY and PWC often come to our college for placements with the average package being Rs. 8,00,000. After getting this degree, i will pursure another degree in MBA or I might also take a part in the placement process and pursue an MBA later. Students in semester 6 and further can take part in the placement process but there are internship fairs and summer internship programmes for students who are not eligible for placements

Students become Eligible for campus placements after in the 3rd year. The placements have been improved a lot in the past years. Companies like Pwc, kpmg, McKinsey, bain and Co come for campus placements. The highest package was 23 lakhs per annum last year.
