Course Curriculum Overview

2

The curriculum has two different sides one is of the main subject that is core dsc subjects that are very informative and beneficial for all the students and help gain knowledge also are appropriate to the course but the new education policy has brought new subjects called electived like sec vac aec which are a complete waste for students it is not very useful for the students. Personally i feel subjects like evs hindi art of being happy and many more are just score boosters for cgpa and do not add skills to the students. Being a commerce student the options for courses are already afew with bcom hons being flagship course of delhi university it was a good choice but if it is about real world application it is below requirement. We can improve the curriculum by removing extra subjects and focusing more on core.

Fees and Financial Aid

Being a government university the fee structure for the student is bery cost efficient with only 9500 as early fee. Colleges are very expensive nowadays with less fees it is very efficient and motivating for the students. They also offer fee reduction for students from ews backgrounds. However no such scholarship opportunities are presented

Campus Life

3.5

My college has a great society culture being part of two societies it was very great experience and Iearning oppurtunity. The fest are not up to the mark with negligible involvement and a very few money allotted to students union Library is not upto the mark also with most of the books being old and frequent strikes of library and rough rules and timing of library At sports our college hosts many competition and is also very supportive

Admission

The entrance for the college was through common üniversite entrance exam or cuet with the course specific cut off at an average of 725. Cuet access form is over the internet no physical form submission is necessary with around 1-2 thousand application fee the exam is held once a year around august and form is released around February. College provides reservation to people of alot of classes like sc st obc evs and sports. This also can be reduced to improve equal opportunity

Faculty

3.5

The faculty of our colleges is great with good faculty to student ratio and are qualified enough. They have a through study plan involving doubt classes and practice test. majority teacher have a friendly and understanding attitude which makes them very approachable. They provide immediate doubt resolution even via whatsapp

Placements at the college are moderate and fairly decent for commerce courses. Students usually become eligible for placements in the final year. The average package is around 5-6 LPA with higher packages for a few profiles. A good number of students get placed while others opt for higher studies or professional courses
