Likes

The aspects of my college life that are going to help me in growing as a better person are discipline and personality development courses,cultural activities,regular sports competition and interdepartmental events.
Talking about infrastructure the facilities of drinking water is always available ,water coolers work well in summers,cafeteria service is also hygeinic and affordable,gymnasium is alway open for the students .
The faculty of our Department is so efficient at their work ,their teaching methodologies are quite helpful.

Dislikes

Washrooms conditions get worsened sometimes
Absence of ACs in classrooms and non availability of chemicals in the lab
Lift facilities for differently abled people do not work properly.

Course Curriculum Overview

Talking about the course curriculum ,I have enrolled in is quite rigorous and regular . We usually have 4 labs in a week but with proper guidance of the lab staff and teacher students can freely do their tasks . The classes and lab schedule is maintained in the way so that the students can prepare themselves for the future in right way.

Class Size: 25Course Fees: INR 22000 per year

Internships Opportunities

The non stipend Research internships are available for the students under the guidance of the Faculty .There is no facility of stipend internship in our course.you have to lookout for youself thought students can do their research projects with the guidance of faculty.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees structure is different for different courses.For the students who need help There is a facility of annual scholarship for which anyone can apply with the proper documents. The tution fees for the Honours courses is around 20,000 INR.

Campus Life

We have our annual fest Kaarvaan and tech fest TRAP which are always held around the months of feburary and November. Books related to every courses are available in libraries . Sports activities are quite regular ,students can also take morning aerobics classes ,gym training etc.

Admission

The eligibility for the course is you must have studied physics ,maths/biology ,chemistry in 12th standard along with that you cuet score must be around 300. The college semester exams are of good level ,you can easily crack them with proper guidance and resources.

Faculty

For every Department the faculty strength is about 7-10 excluding the lab staffs and administrative staff. The teaching faculties and non teaching faculties both are quite helpful towards the student . The teaching faculty is always there to guide you in your field .Their teaching methodologies are quite well

Talking about the placements it has society that is placement cell you have to join it for updates and also you will register on your college portal also. According to previous data it has a highest placement of 6.5 lakh per annum and the companies which visits here are google, tcs, infosys, etc And in every year you are eligible but you have experience in fields a good resume My plan was to prepare for ssc after getting the degree

Placement Experience:

I don't really know about the placement yet as I'm still in my 2nd year of college but the internship opportunities are quite good, you get a lot of well know as well as startup companies here looking for interns making it easily accessible to every course and year.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course is too good. As my course is life sciences so instead of learning about only one core subject like in botany hons and zoology hons course, we get chance to learn about zoology, botany and chemistry simultaneously. That Also unlock a large no. of opportunities for my future. Acc to me the ratio of practical lab and theory classes should be increased like we only get 1 lab for one core subjects in a week so I think this no. Should be increased so that we can get more practical knowledge. The difficulty level of exams are too much High like it seems we're hons course students that should be decreased.

The course is superb, it combines everything, also the college offer great skill courses which helps to increase the employability. The exams occur after every 5 months and exams are not that much difficult if you have a knowledge of 12 th science you can easily clear it

The course curriculum is not very relevant to nowadays only learning basic coding is not going to help you get the job we are not taught to make projects simple apps and AI is not used in the functioning

Placement Experience:

Campus placements are for commerce background mostly, usually in 3rd year you might see some placements. I don't know exactly about thr company who visited because I wasn't enrolled in that particular course. Campus placements percentage is very low to be honest . 10-20% mostly. I'll pursue masters.

The course is good and due to diversity in this course as it contain three different subjects chemistry, zoology and botany due to which you have options further to take part in any course and in MSC you have multiple options to participate.

"Campus Chronicles: A Journey to Remember"

This college has a lot to offer. First it's in delhi university and second it's ranking is very good and third it's a college of applied sciences like science science everywhere. I applied to GGSIP University and filled the entrance exam CUET. One can get admission in Delhi University by giving the CUET exam. After giving cuet, we have to apply on the CSAS portal that is of Delhi University. It then conducts various rounds of admission process and students are allotted colleges according to their preference sheets and marks scored in CUET exam. In IP University I got rank 382(out of 15000) for BBA where I was given admission according to my preference, in VIPS college. Though I kept Delhi University as my first choice. And since BMS is a professional course I decided to take up this college, SRCASW( NIRF ranking 32) Also I wanted to stay in Delhi so didn't sign up for colleges in other states. The best college for BMS is considered to be Shaheed Sukhdev college of business students. It has a very high cut off and thus remains a Dream for many students. It also offers a course BBA(FIA) that is also provided by SRCASW. But since it's a women's college, it's not available to everyone....Read More
