The new architecture curriculum is a bit tough with 2 design projects and other subjects on top of it every sem, I struggled a little at the end of my last semester, But for some kids, these work out just fine

Placement for Btech in TKMCE is high whereas it for architecture is very low. I'm thinking of doing masters and working on a firm and to move abroad and practice there. Gulf countries and European countries offer good salary packagees for architecture so that's what I'm planning to do after college

I got on a merit basis my tution fees only come up to 10k a year and hostel fees of 5k per month. But you can get scholarships on the tution fees hostel fees and exam fees if you fit in the criteria of scholarships. But if you take architecture, you get additional expenses of the printing of the material and all

There are a lot of clubs here may it be technical or cultural clubs and it is through these clubs that you mostly make friends from other departments and senior years. The social life here is awesome as kids from different places come here, you get to know a lot of peace and their cultures and traditions. A lot of cultural events happen at TKM mostly on weekends of even semesters, there are events on odd semesters as well but not as much as in even semesters, and the biggest techno-cultural fert HESTIA happens every even semester in which more than 20000 students attend every year

The First year hostel is the newest and the best one, from the second year onwards the hostel rooms are smaller ones but the living conditions are good, they clean everything almost every day so it's good, and the fees are also affordable being the 5k range every month. You will get tired of the food eventually, but that's the case in every hostel so nothing much to say about it

We have to clear NATA exam first and apply to KEAM for admission to colleges in Kerala, you can go through the management way as well but still you have to clear the NATA exam. Based on you rank and cutoff you get the admission slip, In tkm the cutoff for general was 213 this can go upto 1000 for other castes. Based on this they will give you a date, and we have to come with the necessary documents to take the admission. The admission process was quite easy

The faculties are so good, okay not everyone is perfect but everyone is approachable and unlike the usual government college where they just let you be, these faculties actually want you to learn and are willing to take even online classes to clear a doubt session if you ask for it
